Das Beer!

Authentic German Brew Haus. Lots of German folk flavor. Local brews and many German favorites on tap. A must see. Always an interesting food special. Today was pig knuckle with krautsalat. Famous for the lost iPhone 4 prototype years ago. A Silicon Valley legend. Go to the German food market... read more

We had lunch one Saturday here. We got in early before the rush and it became extremely busy about 12.30-1pm. We told the server the type of beer we liked and he chose for us, out of the vast selection! Which was a great way to ensure we chose something suited to us. We had the currywurst and the pretzel... They are now open on Sundays yahoo ! We really enjoy coming here for the guest beers and the food menu. The employees are wonderful that work here.

Love coming here for beer and traditional German food. Their menu seems to rotate and there is always something really good on there. They have an incredible selection of beers. It's kind of a younger crowd and can get really loud and crowded (especially on Fri/Sat nights) but that's part of the fun!

My son, his wife, and I dined at Gourmet Haus Staudt today and had the special: roast beef and vegetables with a delicious gravy and potato. The wait staff was friendly, courteous, and very attentive.

I saw this place on Trip advisor and decided to go. This is a German food store and gourmet haus. For the cafe area the atmosphere has that German brew pub feel. They have good beers on draft. I had their Bavarian sausage, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. Their food is one of the best German restaurants in the San... More

I've lived and dined in the Peninsula my whole life (which is a long time) and am not sure how long this place has been here, but was pleasantly surprised to learn that such a place existed in our own backyard. We went for dinner with our kids on a Friday evening a couple of weeks ago and loved it.... More

Pretty good hard to find German restaurant. Nice beer selection. Service was awful - we were sitting outside and asked what beers there were and he told us to go look inside. I go back from time to time but nothing regularly.

This is a German restaurant and beer hall. The beers are numerous and great and the food is 100% German goodness: sausages, schnitzel, pretzels, kraut, and, well, you get the picture. Since this is my cultural heritage, I thought the food and beer were great. Folks who do not share my genes might disagree. Anyway, this place is 100% open... More

Been coming here for 3 years when it was small. Now that they expanded indoors and out it's like a frat house on Friday & Saturday nights. If you want to enjoy your beer and food when it's peaceful go at noon time. They still have the best german beer on tap any where in Redwood City.
