Good rolls

I would go back to this place. The dynamite rolls and rainbow rolls were very good. The miso soup was on par. Rolls are large. Can't say they were the best ever, but I have had a lot worse. The service was good and very nice.

We were looking for a different choice for lunch and saw this restaurant in a large shopping area. The parking lot was full of cars with many choices for eateries. When we entered the restaurant no one else was eating here and we should have taken this as a sign of things to come. The service was ok, menu looked... More

This place is decent. They have OK rolls, good terraki, but any place you can say that about it's really a good Japanese place. If you go north 5 minutes to San Mateo there are a dozen really good japanese places - ramen joints, izakaya, and one of the best sushi places around (Sushi Sam's, where they don't make rolls).... Definitely worth a stop! Don't let the strip mall dissuade you. The food is first class and not expensive.

We like their dinner specials which are very reasonably priced. The ambiance is nice and they try to please customers.

This is the Number One choice for my grandchildren, their parents and their grandparents. The variety of food is for the whole family., from sushi to the teriyake meat dishes.

I've eaten here a number of times as I can walk to it when I stay at the nearby Sofitel. It's a local Japanese restaurant. Generally the food is OK, but nothing special. There are much better Japanese restaurants in the area if you're happy to venture further afield, but if you're in the area then this is OK.
