Great Scotch or Beer collection and good eclectic food.

I always love to try one of their unique beers and pair with some of their great food. And love the atmosphere - warm, cozy, vibrant. Great place to meet a group of people or even have a first date. Service is always good too!

Came here with some colleagues and customers for appetizers and drinks. Parking in RWC is a nightmare, and it was a Tuesday at about 6 p.m. After finally finding a metered spot we ordered 3 wine, 1 mixed drink and a few appetizers (poutine, cheese assortment (5), scotch eggs (3 small quail eggs), oysters (6), tomatoes with cheese). The wine... More

A "pub" in Redwood City for a fun night out? No way I said. And yet....it was fantastic. They have a truly extensive scotch collection - rare and unique blends. If you're a whiskey drinker, you need to come here! But even if not, the atmosphere is lovely and the food pretty good, everything we tried was delicious and reasonably... More

Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Waiter was willing to give an opinion and it was spot on. I got the chicken, I never get the chicken but I'm glad I did. Best chicken ever and one of the best meals overall....ever. There were layers upon layers of flavor, it was just a big mouth party. Excellent experience.

I went to Martins West for the first time with a small group of girlfriends. It was an early evening, around 6pm on a Thursday night. I was impressed with the ambiance and feel of the place. The servers were friendly and prompt in taking our order and food and drinks arrived quickly. The fish and chips are to die... More

I love this place. I love the building (a slice of Wild West history) and the excellent drinks, and the inventive pub fare twists. You can order anything -- even the things that sounds boring or weird, and they are all, without fail, delicious. The only things I haven't tried are Haggis on a Stick and Blood Pudding. They're probably... More

We usually sit at the bar so we can get our drinks right away from the bartender. It took at least 10 minutes to even get his attention. When we finally did get his attention and looked at the drink menu, we thought everything was way over priced for drinks. we know because we are bar hoppers. When we got... More

They really stick their necks out to deliver unique drinks and dishes. The scotish eggs are always popular, but most things on the menu are constantly changing and usually very good. They will make a drink to suit your mood no matter what it is, and they will frequently go back to the kitchen to get fresh ingrediednts to make... More

Was meeting someone here for the first time, so we sat at the bar. We weren't acknowledged or asked if we wanted anything for a good 10-15 minutes, even though the place wasn't very busy. Finally got their attention by talking about how thirsty we were and how nice it would be to get anything to drink, even water. That... More

The place has a lot of potential to be a got to place day in and day out. The food is really good and the drinks are very nice. The staff can be a bit of an issue if they are really busy. I've been there a few times now, and usually can be ignored for awhile each time.
