Service a little slow but great food

Had dinner early one Saturday evening, just before the main rush. We definitely enjoyed the unusual food combinations on the menu. The croquettes were excellent, as was the poutine. Prices are slightly on the high side and portions are not huge, however the flavours are excellent. Service was... read more

The food here is pretty amazing and their selection of beers are always on point. They also have some of the most friendly/knowledgeable bartenders that make some incredible libations. Try the Moscow Mule made with their house made ginger beer... delicious.

Pros: - when food actually arrived 60-90 minutes (who's counting?) after ordering, I was told that some of it was good. Fish oiliness was particularly noteworthy. So there is a potential heart health benefit in that fish oil in an otherwise unflattering preparation. - you eventually get to leave and In and Out burger is a short drive away. Cons:... More

When I think of my experience at Martin's West I get angry. Yes, I said angry. Angry because it just isn't fair that we don't have a Martin's West in Dallas. To me, it's the perfect pub. I loved the feel of the place, and the food, the food, the food! I still haven't found Scotch Eggs anywhere in Dallas!... More

This could be entirely based on my personal preferences, but this place was too snobby. I like a place that has class, but doesn't hold itself in its own proclaimed, high esteem. My wife and I first went to Martins West a couple years ago. We have our favorite local places, but we wanted to try something new. Plus we... More

Great place to go for some lively activity and service that does not rush you. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you are looking for a romantic place, this is not the restaurant to go to. Great pairings of food and drink. All local and sustainable food, but also the restaurant used local resources, like their shiplap floors. Read their story... More

Quite a ncie place, came here to meet with the son of a friend, had a very nice dinner. Immense beer list, with lots of great ciders too. I had the grilled octopus, which was delicious. And yes, we ordered the "haggis on a stick" which was pretty good, definitely worth a try. BY the time we left (8pm) it... More

I like the ambiance - brick walls and fancy fillament lights. Food here is always good, sometimes excellent. Not large portions. Great whisky list and wine selection.

Extensive Whiskey/Bourbon selection, with great craft cocktails. The edible fare is not your typical bar food. Bacon topped Mac n Cheese, Steak Frites, and fried brussel sprouts. Yum!
