If you're in redondo, you have to hit this place for breakfast. Nice dinner-style breakfast, very good coffee and pleasant staff. It's also very affordable, so you can't beat it for the money. Service was fast, my coffee cup never went empty, and neither did my wallet.

The Redondo Beach Cafe is, in my estimation, the hockey hub of the South Bay. They have good food, with some delicious Greek and Canadian specialties. They have amazing homemade carrot cake, and to top it off,,,the best hockey fans around. If you want to feel like you are having breakfast/lunch or dinner with like-minded fans, Redondo Beach Cafe is... More

Great service, great food. I especially enjoyed the gyro or rack of lamb with mint jelly. I have to warn that they are always packed on weekends.( no surprise why). Also, they have parking in the back.

After reading the reviews and spending more time in the Hollywood Riviera begging the necessity of trying different restaurants, we tried the Cafe for lunch. My companion and I were both disappointed. He had a tough beef sandwich and I had overcooked green falafels. Service was okay, but interior seemed a bit dated and dark. We won't be stopping there... This place reminds me of an East Coast diner. The food is basic and uninspired, especially compared with nearby places like Riviera Mexican Grill and Good Stuff, which are so much better.

Took a early morning walk on the beach with my wife and stopped in after working up an appetite. Waitress suggested the smoked meats and I wasn’t disappointed, best omelet ever. The fresh OJ hit the spot and coffee cup was kept full. They offer Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and is a great place to just relax and enjoy the... More

Old style decor, good home cooked food. Large portions of excellent quality and tasting food. Our waitress was also fun (maybe hungover, too!)

The food was good (a little expensive) and they had a wonderfulo variety - from Greek to Italian. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful! This was our first meal of our vacation and he gave us all of the ins and outs of the area, and offered tips for our visit.

Our family would probably buy stock in this restaurant, if we could. That's how much we love it. Where else can you go in your hockey jersey in the South Bay, and order up piping hot poutine and a Molson lager? Yup, we love this touch of home for displaced Canadians and all other hockey fans in the area. It's... More

Enjoyed the classic diner feel, with the bit of Canadiana....the hockey memorabilia especially. Had to order the classic Quebecois poutine...fries and curds dripping in gravy. Portions were more than ample and the other orders were tasty. Service was great....old school waiters. There were out of Tim Horton's coffee which was the only let down....next time for sure!
