Wandered early morn towards the water and found 'Renee' smiling like morning sun to greet me. I was offered a table on the pier to join "throw back" fisherman and gull groupies in the thralls of Monday morning routine. i ask for a 'regular breakfast' and Renee is so warm, I feel comfortable telling her I like my eggs soft... if you want a good breakfast, fun-kinda-dicey beach atmosphere-this is the place. I'd take Polly's on the Pier over some slick chain restaurant any day!

My family and I enjoyed a delicious, hot breakfast at this place last week. Prices are good, staff is friendly and you sure can't beat the view!

Bacon and eggs and sea lions and Girabaldi fish and gentle lapping ocean. Perfect. Can sit indoors or on the pier.

Sit outside and watch the seagulls and fishermen, or inside (especially nice if you sit on the right hand side facing the harbor). Good food. They didn't blink an eye when asked to make an egg white omelette.

We ate here twice with our children at the start of our trip and what a way to start,...lovely sunrise, locals fishing, overlooking redondo beach harbour and a plentiful breakfast (eggs, pancakes, sausages or bacon, OJ, coffee). Friendly, efficient service. Would recommend if you're staying here (a more authentic and value for money eatery than some others in the vicinity).

The staff is fun and super laid back. The food is awesome! Couldn't give a perfect rating because the tables are usually not clean and the cutlery,… same thing. Aside from that, it's the perfect CHEAP place to eat! Waaaaaay better than Ruby's and they Polly's serves REAL food! Can't go wrong! Totally eating with the locals!

I have been away for quite a long while but now that I am back in town, I head straight for Polly's on the Pier for breakfast! Always sit outside as the view of the ocean is great while watching the fishermen/fisherwomen/fisherchildren get their fishing day started is always very interesting. Fresh ocean salty air fills my nostrils as laughter... More
