Good food, good service, good prices. What else can I say. Always a good place for breakfast or lunch. Their quality has been consistent over the years. It's a place where locals go and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended.

My husband and I were looking for a local eatery in Redondo Beach. We walked to CJ's Pantry, 324 Catalina Avenue, a small restaurant with big meals. Fortunately, we arrived before the "breakfast crowd"..around 9am on Saturday. We didn't need to sign the clipboard for a table but chose to sit by the window to people watch. Coffee was served... I've been going to CJ's for years and the food has always been of a high standard and prepared the way you want. The service is Johnny-on-the-spot, friendly but not gushing. It's a walk-in spot on PCH and is attended by regulars. So you know it's good with all that return business. CJs is usually full but I've never had... More

Found this place and was so happy! We have a pre-game tradition in Seattle to eat at a CJ's Cafe, so to be able to continue our tradition in Redondo was great! Ended up having breakfast there both mornings of our stay. Very delicious. Super Friendly staff. Fun items on walls, and great location.

I grew up in Southern California and was so glad to see CJ's was still around when my boyfriend and I visited earlier this month. I was hoping it would still be as good as I remembered...we weren't disappointed. Both the decor and the food are no frills, just plain good stick to your ribs breakfast food! I told my... More

We stayed a couple of blocks away from CJ's while on vacation. It doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it is eclectic and inviting. There are different types of seating, banquette, tables, counter and window seating with comfy cushions. The staff is pleasant and professional. The menu is typical breakfast fare with a couple of twists like... More

We live in the area but had not tried CJ's before. We are glad we finally did. I am a vegetarian and my wife is not. There is plenty on the menu for both of us for breakfast and lunch (they don't serve dinner) We went on a Thursday. The service was great and they got my special breakfast order... More

Been a lifelong resident of the area and have had breakfast here a few times. Services is always slow. There is always an issue with my order (either they get it wrong or forget something). I recently went there on a groupon and I still regret it. Had to wait 40 minutes (no joke) for breakfast. As it says in... More

Nothing fancy here. Laminated menus for place mats. Funky murals on the walls and odd collections of 'stuff' for decor. But the food! Wow! It is what I think about when I go out to breakfast. Homemade everything (love the banana bread). Large selection of very creative omelets, many vegetarian without having to tell the wait staff to omit something.... More

This is my place to take visitors for breakfast or brunch. It's expensive, but avoids the plastic feeling of chain restaurants; the omelets are huge; the breads are home baked, the coffee is good, and the service is friendly.
