Maybe it is the way Anaheim is setup or maybe it is the chefs but I found this location to be good and the service to be excellent but there is something missing from this location. It just feels so generic but you don't come here for the ambiance you come for the food. This place delivers that and has... More

Harried, ineffective, surly waitress - quite literally as bad a server as any I've ever experienced. Terrible food - weak, bitter coffee; sourdough pancakes served at room temperature and so tough that they barely yielded to a knife and fork. We were a group of five and various portions of our meals arrived at the table over about a ten... More

Your breakfast at the Original Pancake House in Redondo Beach might rock your world, but only if the stars align. You have to order the right thing, and hope for the right server. In my book, that's a bad recipe for a restaurant. The dutch baby and apple pancake are reliably good. The sourdough pancakes are tough enough to strengthen... More

We came here on a Monday, and unlike a weekend, you can get a table right away at 11:30am. We sat right behind the cashier, which is not the most strategic place for 2 reasons: 1- patrons who are paying their checks literally stand next to you and your table, as they wait in line to pay 2- we had... How can a breakfast joint have such bad coffee. Can anyone else taste that weird flavor? My potato pancakes were raw. They brought me more and they were burnt. The funny thing was, the burnt parts were hidden under the pancake above it. It could not have been an oversight, as they were quite notably black. We had bad experiences... More

This location is the only Original Pancake House I've been to, and I've eaten here at most seven or eight times in the last 20 years. There's always a wait, but it's usually not that bad. (Once you've waited two hours to have dumplings at Din Tai Fung, the wait at Original Pancake House will seem like nothing.) As most... More

Loved this place for amazing big American breakfasts. Eggs Benedict my fave - Hubby loved the omelettes and daughter enjoyed the pancakes - didn't need lunch so it was a great way to start our holiday days as we walked all day most days !!!

We tried this place out while vacationing in Los Angeles. Amazing!!! Fast service and friendly staff. The omelets are delicious but huge, you can easily share with someone and they also come with pancakes. Would definately come back. Good prices too.

Great pancakes and I enjoyed the diced ham and eggs. Good coffee and friendly servers. This place seemed to have lots of locals. Place was packed but service was quick.

I'm not a huge pancake lover, as a matter of fact, i rarely eat them. One morning my brother and his friends wanted to go have some breakfast so they chose this place. Normally i would just order some bacon, eggs, and toast but for some reason as i scanned through the menu the banana pancakes caught my eye. I... More
