Servings are huge! Quality of the food is excellent. Omelets and pancakes are the best I've tasted. It wouldn't take much to rate this restaurant as excellent. Improving the coffee would help. Remodeling to create ambience and adding insulation would be the ultimate coup. Even without improvements, plan to arrive early or be prepared to wait in line. It is,... More

This unusual restaurant that is open for only breakfast and lunch does a great business. The selections, food and service are all very good.....as is the service. Almost always a wait outside before you can get seated and the noise level is way too high! I think this may be a sign of great success.

What can I say - Pancakes in almost every flavor. The only "problem" is you have to be REALLY hungry. There is almost TOO much !!!

Okay, this place is a little Spartan breakfast house with the fluffist tastiest omelettes ever! Pancakes are yummy, yummy. Service is great. Lots of older folks frequent the place as there is good value coupled with good food. If you are staying at the Best Western it is just 100 yards away

We, my family and I have been coming to this place for breakfast for many, many years. We live near Marina del Rey, so it is a bit of a drive for us, but still, it is worth it. This past Sunday, we got there late and had to wait for 45 minutes. After being seated, we ordered our favs;... More

Maybe it is the way Anaheim is setup or maybe it is the chefs but I found this location to be good and the service to be excellent but there is something missing from this location. It just feels so generic but you don't come here for the ambiance you come for the food. This place delivers that and has... More

Harried, ineffective, surly waitress - quite literally as bad a server as any I've ever experienced. Terrible food - weak, bitter coffee; sourdough pancakes served at room temperature and so tough that they barely yielded to a knife and fork. We were a group of five and various portions of our meals arrived at the table over about a ten... More

Your breakfast at the Original Pancake House in Redondo Beach might rock your world, but only if the stars align. You have to order the right thing, and hope for the right server. In my book, that's a bad recipe for a restaurant. The dutch baby and apple pancake are reliably good. The sourdough pancakes are tough enough to strengthen... More

We came here on a Monday, and unlike a weekend, you can get a table right away at 11:30am. We sat right behind the cashier, which is not the most strategic place for 2 reasons: 1- patrons who are paying their checks literally stand next to you and your table, as they wait in line to pay 2- we had...
