Easy to get to with valet parking at the door. Great view of the ocean and pleasant venue. One of the few quality salad bars left around town

A group of us classic car/hot rod owners recently went here for dinner after the Friday Night Ruby's cruise in Redondo Beach Harbor. Ruby's is OK but we wanted something a little nicer with a full choice of adult bevs and secure parking for our cars. Hadn't been there for a while and heard it was a little tired. I... More

Great view, right on the beach! The food was pricey and just ok. I went for the salad bar, which was pretty good, but some in my family ordered the short ribs and scallops. They stated it wasn't very good. The short rib was really fatty and it was drowning in sauce. Not what you would want for how much... More

Unfortunately what would have been a good meal was diminished by poor service. I guess the waitress was new, since this was a regular spot for our hosts that they brought us to. The good news is that you can bring in your own wines for a modest corking fee. The coconut shrimp appetizer was good as were the others,... More

Stopped off for dinner on a journey from San Diego to LA. Got lucky with a perfect table next to the beach window. Seafood was really good and the service was friendly and efficient. Very happy with the overall experience.

In my eternal quest for the perfect Happy Hour, we tried the Chart House in Redondo Beach. This location is just up the street (north on Harbor Drive) from the Cheesecake Factory and Blue Water Grille (the latter is totally over-rated, in my opinion) and not far from the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Portofino Inn, and the site of the future... we were in for dinner at a quiet sunday evening. The staff member at the front desk was very friendly, getting us to our table within 5mins. Waiter was then ok and took our order. He also asked about desert which we found very weird since we did not even have a bite of bread at this time, but ok.... More

From the time we walked in, the staff was friendly and courteous. We met one of the bar servers, Danielle and immediately felt right at home. We were promptly seated at a surfside table and the added ambiance made the night even more memorable. Regrettably , I have forgotten the name of our server but she was pretty, knowledgeable and... This location actually hangs out over the beach, and on high tide the waves lap at the cement support columns. Now for the food. Pretty much Chart House fare with an excellent salad bar (optional cost). Not the cheapest in town, but for special occasions, worth the money. Call ahead for reservations to get a table by the window. On... More
