Aimee personally greets everyone at the door and shows you to the table. She is a charming lady from Paris who has owned this restaurant for many years and immediately you are felt so welcome. We have dined here many times and the food has always been very good and the presentation professional. My husband usually has Aimee's salad and... More

Aimee personally greets you when you arrive and even answers the phone when you call for a reservation. You feel like an honored guest in her home. This little French restaurant in a strip mall is the best kept secret around and always full of locals who love good quality food, wonderful service and reasonable prices.

What a treat to visit this little french bistro in a strip mall in Redondo Beach. Next door to Penquin's Frozen Yogurt and a liquor store, you walk through the doors and Aimee and her staff greet you so nicely. There is a Fixed Price menu including starter, entree, and desert or you can order from the regular menu. The... More

We arrived late and hungry. Greeted in a friendly manner, we hoped for the best. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, yet gave us breathing room. Though the last ones to dine, we were not hurried. The kitchen, however was less sterling. Duck confit was crispy and tasty but au gratin potatoes were undercooked. The liver was tough, as... More

Aimee's Bistro is a hidden gem! The food is fantastic, traditional French food served in a sweet, romantic setting; don't be fooled by the strip-mall exterior. All the classics on the menu (Coq au Vin, Boeuf Bourguignon, Duck Confit, Soupe a l'Oignon, Escargots) are executed really well. The wine list features delicious French selections as well as bottles from other... More

I went to Aimee's for dinner. Their fresh fish special, Escolar, was fabulous. When you visit this restaurant, you can tell they take such personal care of you. The meal choices are fabulous. Persentation of dishes is really marvelous. They are very personable. The Grand Manier Souffle is wonderful and so beautiful.

Instead of going to a brewpub or beach /harbor establishment we happened to pass a very small shopping center on PCH which had a Bistro and decided to give it a try. Nice French food, varied menue, prices were good, the wine list extensive. Three of us all enjoyed our meals and would definitly recommend this place to others.
