Really good find in Redondo!

We went to Sophie's Place for the first time last night. They have an extensive list of beers and wines by the glass. However, what was spectacular about this place was the food. We had a group of 6 people and started off with the Sophie's Tots. There were 3 large tots to the order which we split... read more

From the moment we walked in and we re greeted by several people, we felt welcomed. Meghan was awesome. We sat on the tiered terrace. Great beer selection - we tried several. The SLamb was a bit messy but good- like a gyro sandwich . Excellent Cobb salad that was loaded. Great lunch experience.

Not bad - I wished that we had come for lunch, but that's OK, this is the time we had to come, and so we did. The food was good - not super, as I'm having a hard remembering what I ordered. Pancakes, I think. As pancakes go, they were good. What had me thinking lunch is what looks like... More

stopped for dinner with very little expectations. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good (we went for the tacos and the veggie burger), the menu has a little bit of everything. The price was budget friendly. A very good experience. Seems like a great family place.

I have enjoyed lunch at this restaurant 3 times and each experience was consistent. They offer a tasty burger, fish & chips, grilled cheese, salads and other lunch items. We've enjoyed each of the dishes we've had. The service has been attentive all 3 times. It's not a fancy place, but is a solid, consistent choice for lunch in Riviera... More

Plenty of nice appetizers (try the deep fried guacamole) and tasty sandwiches, but the service and timing of food was horrible. The beer menu is probably the most extensive here in the South Bay.

This restaurant is situated in the riviera village area of Redondo Beach right on South Catalina. When I went I sat outside on the little patio area and enjoyed the view of the little shops and people strolling around. The service was great, very friendly staff and very quick with the important things like refills. The food was fantastic. I... More

We've been here twice in the last month and both times were not disappointed. Both times eating outside was great...once on the curb (no alcohol served) and once on the patio. Great for people watching. The grilled prawn salad...yum! Healthy and tasty. We ordered the three chocolate bread pudding dessert and it was seriously delish! Addictingly delish!! We'll be back!

We both had the Ham Eggs Benedict. 5/10 on the Eggs Benedict Scale. Sauce was bland and too sweet. The English Muffin was not toasted at all. The home fries tasted like a cheap seasoning salt. Waitress never brought tomato juice and never refilled coffee.

Enjoying a day in Redondo Beach with a friend, we stopped at Sophie's Place for a late lunch. The cheese plate had Manchego cubes with basil in olive oil, a great red wine goat cheese and a small wedge of fried brie, dressed with garnishes, etc. The filet mignon skewers were a total of four large pieces of meat on...
