Plenty of nice appetizers (try the deep fried guacamole) and tasty sandwiches, but the service and timing of food was horrible. The beer menu is probably the most extensive here in the South Bay.

This restaurant is situated in the riviera village area of Redondo Beach right on South Catalina. When I went I sat outside on the little patio area and enjoyed the view of the little shops and people strolling around. The service was great, very friendly staff and very quick with the important things like refills. The food was fantastic. I... More

We've been here twice in the last month and both times were not disappointed. Both times eating outside was great...once on the curb (no alcohol served) and once on the patio. Great for people watching. The grilled prawn salad...yum! Healthy and tasty. We ordered the three chocolate bread pudding dessert and it was seriously delish! Addictingly delish!! We'll be back!

We both had the Ham Eggs Benedict. 5/10 on the Eggs Benedict Scale. Sauce was bland and too sweet. The English Muffin was not toasted at all. The home fries tasted like a cheap seasoning salt. Waitress never brought tomato juice and never refilled coffee.

Enjoying a day in Redondo Beach with a friend, we stopped at Sophie's Place for a late lunch. The cheese plate had Manchego cubes with basil in olive oil, a great red wine goat cheese and a small wedge of fried brie, dressed with garnishes, etc. The filet mignon skewers were a total of four large pieces of meat on... They had a decent selection of craft brews. We had a table of 7, and 4 out of 7 liked there food. It seems the pasta dishes were good, but not the sandwiches or ribs. Service was a little slow also, I do not recommend this restaurant for families, it is too cramped and the menu is not for children.... More

Had an early lunch last weekend and even though it was busy, they accompodated my wife and me within 10 minutes. Their service is excellent with the hostess very freindly and the waitress prompt. Try the lamb burger...it is delicious! Great beer selection on the wall next to their stylish bar. Airy inside, nice sidewalk tables.

My friend and I stopped at Sophie's Place for a burger and a bottle of wine. They have a very small selection of wine and totally overpriced but we ended up with a Pinot Grigio anyways. I guess Sophie's is known for it's beer. The burgers were good, nothing special and a little overpriced as well. We were sitting at... More

The burgers are the best in South Bay. Pricey but well worth the money. It's better than Unami burger
