Fresh seafood at decent prices

I've been to Quality Seafood on three separate occasions at this point, and it's become my go-to destination for fresh seafood since moving to the South Bay about five months ago. The prices are competitive -- I recently paid $16/lb for sashimi-quality tuna filets, which is about $1-2 per pound... read more

There's no place in the Los Angeles area that can compete with Quality for freshness and choice. If you want a sit down, put your feet under the table and order from a menu, this isn't your place. Here you go to a tank, select your choice that's swimming in the tank, and, if you choose a shell fish, rent... More

Southern California weather beautiful and great food. Quality Seafood market has a wonderful bar!! Sit in the sun eat your fish, eat your crab and drink your ice cold tap beer or your ice cold tap grapefruit ale. Everything is fresh. Savor every bite. Ah. Just what the Dr ordered!

We had crab there with a fried grouper. Check what they have to offer that's fresh and has a good price. The terrace is a bit dirty and the toilet (which is public also) is very dirty.

This shop / restaurant is literally a dozen yards from the fishing boats which provide great ingredients on a daily basis. As described by other reviewers, they will prepare your seafood any way you want, and it's up to you how you want to eat it. They provide tables and benches, and newspapers to act as tablecloths. Use the plastic... More

This establishment offers every kind of seafood imaginable and it's all fresh. Fried, steamed or grilled; you have a choice of your favorite seafood; cooked to order. I have been eating here for eleven years and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food, the preparation, or the service. What is great about this restaurant is the variety... More

So much fun. You pick live seafood (Dungeness crab, in my case), buy a loaf of sourdough, a pint of Anchor Steam, and crab a concrete seat while waiting. Let your hair down and give it a shot - you don't be sorry.

Pick out your favorite filets or shellfish, and they will steam, saute or fry for you. Fun to grab the newspapers and your cervesa, spread out the paper for your tablecloth, and wait for the light-show vibrating gizmo to let you know it's ready. Right on the dock, watch the sunset colors and stroll on the pier afterwards.

This was my 10th visit and counting, always feels like the first time when it comes to the excitement! Their only problem is with the restrooms, they're freaking dirty whatever how hard they try to clean them.. Grilled trout is simply amazing! Shrimp with vegetables, steamed santa barbara female crabs are more than delicious.. I never get enough of that... More
