Very Very fresh seafood, it's a small seafood market, but they'll cook for you. Oysters are soo good, I'll come back again.

When my wife and I travel to Los Angeles, we make a point of going to Quality Seafood on the Redondo Beach Pier for oysters and clams on the half shell. There is an abundant selection of different oysters and clams to select from, as well as other types of seafood (e.g. crab, shrimp, lobster, calamari). The seating is outdoors... More

It's outside and a little cold if it's cloudy, you also have to pick out what you want from an incredible selection, e.g., 11 different oyster species. Great sea urchins about 8" diameter. They cook the food on a great grill.cost about $15/person for more than you can eat.

Visiting redondo beach tourist area, had no idea what was upon me, when walked into this sea food mart. I was amazed by all the live seafood and fresh fish. It is all open and and you can approach the various types of seafood, almost like an interactive aquarium. We got hungry, you can choose whatever fish you want and... More

My husband and I picked our own crab and lobster and they steamed it for us! It was pretty self service and I wouldn't say it was fancy or romantic, but it was so fun! The staff was all in good spirits, the seafood was fresh and it was a great atmosphere!

If you can find a better place in town that has fresher fish besides Capt. Kidds, please let me know. This place is just so amazing because of the many seafood choices you have. From Crab, to Clams, to Fish, whatever you eat is just delicious!!! If your in the area, you must swing by!!!

I was excited to try this restaurant but was a bit disappointed. Maybe it was our order but I felt like our food lacked the flavor I was looking for. We ordered the seafood paella, broiled tilapia, deep fried oysters, skewered shrimp, clam chowder and the nuggets for the kiddos. The tilapia we could do it better plus it had... More

Calling this a restaurant is technically correct, but it feels more like a fish market that also prepares food. You do get to pick what you want, and if something is in season and good supply, the 'specials' can be pretty amazing! We had the $18 "you pick 'em, we cook 'em" lobster special with potato and corn. If you... More
