We have had Indian food all over the world and this is the best Indian food we have eaten. They have a variety of Indian dishes to choose from. The service every time we have eaten there has always been good. It has a friendly atmosphere and the restaurant and restrooms are very clean. Everyone in our family has always... More

Their lunch buffet is reasonably priced ($7.99), lots of interesting dishes including several lamb and chicken options, rice, etc. Super clean place; nice waitstaff, and I felt perfectly comfortable dining alone. This place is located in a strip mall, plenty of parking. I did have to wait a bit for the hostess to figure out that I had entered the... More

And great food compared to many places elsewhere! This is outs favorite lunch buffet and one of the best dinner places in Redding. In compares well to Bay Area Indian restaurants I have visited. And the other Redding Indian place? Not even close.

Driving through, we needed to stop in Redding for dinner. Not expecting much! But Priya was wonderful. As good as a very good Indian restaurant in the big city. Everything was obviously cooked in their kitchen, not packaged. It wasn't that thing where everything tastes the same. The food was delicate, fragrant, and distinctive.

Service and the food both were pathetic. We went there because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor. After waiting for 10 min someone came and told us he will make a table ready for us. Then when v got a table he told us they r just serving buffet. Really? Y cant you tell this when d customer entered your restaurant.... More

Truly excellent, comparable to recognized gourmet restaurants in quality. Everything clearly cooked on premise (in other words, sauces did not come out of a jar). Thali (full dinner) features a wide spectrum of treats and should not be missed. Incredibly inexpensive for the quality and quantity. Overall, one of the best overall meal experiences I have ever had. Don't trust... More

By virtue of TripAdvisor and the local hotel, we made our way to Priya with hopes of good Indian food and we were not disappointed. All six of us wound up having the buffet and we were all pleased with the freshness, variety, and taste of the offerings. It felt well above and beyond the mass production feel you too... More

I would highly recommend Priya! The food is excellent and the restaurant is quiet. It's busy enough to keep you from worrying but not so many customers to make it noisy. Definitely get the thali rather than the a la carte so you can try many different small dishes and dessert. I get curry chicken and love the naan. Can... More

Arriving late into town many places were closed, we had low expectations and wow did this place delight us. The food is mostly S. Indian but the spices are distinct and the food fresh. The place is clean the atmosphere is not grand but the food was certainly a great surprise. I'd go back now. The service was good and... More

One of the best Indian buffets I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Priya also serves reasonable priced entrees. Every item was cooked to perfection. The curry dishes, lentils, lamb, tandoori chicken and nann ranked with dishes at expensive Indian restaurants Newport Beach. The owner pours a full glass of Kenwood wine for $5! Give Priya Indian Cuisine a... More
