Sat night out on my own. Awesome shrimp tacos - a meal on it's own. Super service at the bar. Enjoyed the A/C on a HOT day. Friendly people who connect with locals and visitors.

This is our second time to the restaurant and it only gets better with time! The Kobi Steak was outstanding as was the service. All the employees are motivated and caring. Even the manager, Ken, is bussing tables and pouring water. Keep up the great work guys-we will be back for sure!

Very close when going to a performance at the Cascade. Food is good, pricy and it is difficult to get a cocktail. We gave ourselves 2 hours prior to show but with the slow service we just made it for curtain call.

This is by far our favorite restaurant in Redding. Yes it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. We have been there several times, and have yet to be disappointed by any aspect. The only thing that comes close to negative, it the noise level...but it is to be expected - it is a steakhouse after all, not "elegant... More

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here with mixed results. The food was very good with lots of choices, but considerably over priced. The drinks were way out of line. We asked our waitress for the price of a Grey Goose martini and was told $10. After dinner and the bill came we noticed the martini's were $12 instead of $10. When... More

Went to Market Street Steakhouse for the first time with friends on a Friday night. Sadly, it will be our last visit. We had reservations & were promptly seated. However, it was quite a wait for anyone to greet us, bring water, etc. We started with a cocktail. I ordered a Mojito, as I was told by others the restaurant... More

This is one of those restaurants that you have to be referred to. Not very visible, no giant sign as you're driving down the street, just a non-descript building in the older part of town. I had the rib eye and it was very good. Not the best I've ever had, but a good, solid, tasty piece of meat that... More

I would have given 5 stars but my rib steak although clearly an excellent cut of meat was a little tough to cut. atmosphere and service were excellent, and I feel the meat was not a normal issue as several in our party were very happy with meals. the risotto was excellent.

Kenny & Gabe made my first visit to the Market Street Steakhouse a wonderful end to a 6 hour drive to Redding, CA. Both were very attentive, making recommendations on menu items & combinations as well as keeping my water glass filled and clearing the table for the next item to arrive. Their service was consistent to the surrounding diners... More

We had a large party of about 25 people celebrating a 50th anniversary in their banquet room. The most obviously negative thing was the lack of staffing. Our one an only waitress was wonderful but so overworked. This was on a busy Friday night, no less. There policy is that large groups are not able to choice from the menu.... More
