I've not had any other Mandarin or Chinese food in Redding so i can't compare it to the other local spots, but this was decent and we enjoyed the location. The staff seemed friendly with their regulars, but we weren't regulars. Not a problem though! Quality ingredients and tasty! We would eat there again if we lived in Redding!

Seriously folks. Decent but not fabulous chinese way out of town. Huge portions at good prices, but nothing you can't equal in quality (if not volume) in almost any city in the US.

Great Chinese food, for a good price. If you are at the Redding airport, this is THE place for lunch. Quality remained high for many years now.

I've lived in Redding for over 40 years and been to just about all the restaurants in existence for those years. The Redding Airport has had several restaurants in this location but Peter Chus is the only one who has made it. The reason? Simply said always good food, good service and for a reasonable price. Chus is my favorite... More

I have to been to Peter Chu's Skyroom on my way up north and I must say this was the best Asian/Chinese food I had so far in North America. I have been living in China for some years and can just say that this food is 110% authentic and delicious. Unfortunatly the Airport is a bit dead and rundown.... More

this is just the best Chinese food. excellent service. we always order one of the family dinners. more than enough food for everyone. we always leave loaded with little boxes for later. However the city of Redding decided to remodel the airport for some reason, since there are only now 3 flights a day to San Francisco. The airport operated for... More

It was my first time eating here and I have been living in Redding for about 8 months. I've heard so much about this place but didn't think it could have been that great. When I went in for lunch I was greeted and sat immediately and they were very nice to me. I was alone and they made me... More

This restaurant is my favorite in Redding. My entire extended family is always excited to eat there whenever they come to town. At first the idea of Chinese food at an airport seems odd, but the kids love watching planes take off and land!! Our favorite dishes are the Mongolian beef, house dry braised chicken, and bean curd with vegetables.... More

I wasn't as impressed with Peter Chu's as I had hoped to be. The place was lovely, the wait staff attentive & charming, and the place was full on a Friday night. We ordered our usual Chinese plates: prawns with mixed vegetables for me, mu shu prawns for my husband, and pot stickers to start. No, we're not adventurous eaters,... More

Lunch specials are super cheap and fast. This is one of two chinese restaurants in town that I'll eat at or recommend. Yes you have to park in the airport parking lot, but Chu's will validate your parking.
