I took my Dad here for dinner, and am very sorry I did. The food was mediocre at best, and the prices high. I had salmon that tasted of freezer burn. The portion was small - barely 4 oz - and cost $18! We waited over 30 minutes for our food after ordering - at which time our waiter promised... More

I love Outback . . . .eaten at many locations in my travels. The Redding store was sad . . . Ordered a Steak Griller (as I always do) with a dinner salad. I asked for no cucumbers on the salad but got them anyway . . . the salad had so much dressing on it, my lettuce was swimming... More

My wife and I had gift cards that were, at least, 4 years old. Used them at the Outback in Redding Californy. We started with the Crispy Calamari, YUM ! Then she had the Crab & Avocado Stack and I had the Parmesan Pasta with chicken (but they forgot the chicken). It was still good. We topped our dinners of... More

I have gone here for years, and can only think of once when I wasn't happy with my meal. I love their grillers, their blooming onion, their steaks, and my daughter loves their lamb. Their drinks are good, too!

We hadn't been here in a while. Oh! Man The service was terrible. We waited over 20 minutes just for our waitress to take our drink order. Then another 30 minutes for our salads. We weren't in hurry but man we got there at 4:00 and we didn't get out there until almost 6:00. The food was only ok. My... More

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Redding. It has slid downhill the last few years. The prices have skyrocketed and the quality of the food has declined. The restaurant doesn't participate in the advertised specials you see on tv, very frustrating when you came here because of the ad and they don't honor it. Better value... More

We have been to multiple Outback locations. This one is average. The service was very good. The restaurant was dark. The food was just okay. Good bread! "Crispy" shrimp was not crispy. Scampi shrimp seemed like sautéed bay shrimp. Steak was cooked to asking.

we had about a 15 minute wait for seating, which gave us the opportunity to sample cocktails at the bar, inexperienced but friendly bartender, great drinks! appetizers ordered at our table along with another round of cocktails, plenty of goodies for all 6 of us. ordered ribeyes and salmon entrees and a bottle of wine,,, delicious we had no room... Not the cheapest, but all my experiences with Outback have been good. Christie was a great waitress, food was very good. One problem was I asked for a gin and 7, and instead of getting well gin, they served me Bombay for $6. I didn't ask for a brand, so was a bit taken aback by the double price for... More

This was a great oasis after a long day of driving. The menu is always good and a friend and I split the fillet flight which was awesome. Meat perfectly cooked, green beans to die for and potatoe pancakes were incredible! The food was only outdone by the service of Joshua, our waiter. The pour for drinks was very generous.... More
