Beautiful Resteraunt. We eat here often. Both the table cooking and sushi side are delicious. They put on a Good show for big parties and the fried rice is yummy. My favorite though would have to be the sushi bar. I love sitting up there watching the chef make the dishes. Rainbow roll is my go to EVERYTIME! It's got... More

For a Behinana steak house experience at a fraction of the cost, Kobe gives you what you pay for. The chef’s Mexican, its waiters are Thai, owner is American, and the rice isn’t Japonica — its Chinese long grain. Teppanyaki chefs excel at flicking florets of broccoli into a customer’s mouth, but ours missed three times, and at four we... More

Ideal celebration place for intimate small group meals with a flair for entertainment. The food is decent but the show is good. It would be nice if they would add grass fed beef and organic veggies.

We have eaten here a few times and I keep coming back for the Volcano roll. We had the dinner a couple times where you sit around the grill and the cook does his little show for you and its really good.

We had to wait maybe 20 minutes, no reservations and we were seated with a great group of people. I had the shrimp with the fried rice and my friend had the scallops, both were good, fried rice was perfect! Our server was very nice, albeit a bit slow but our chef was great fun. I kind of thought it... More

I had a good teppanyaki meal with my family at Kobe. There was the usual fun little show of the chef's skill and then the food was cooked in front of us on the grill. Our cook was pretty accomplished at the tricks and had a enjoyable patter. Of course the cook had to toss the pieces of broccoli for... More

We have had dinner here about 9 times since they opened. A lot of times we would head to eat there but it was crowded so we went elsewhere. This last time we met our friends there and we were lucky to get seated right away. We sat at the grill with another couple we did not know, but they... More

I have ate so much mediocre food in Redding but this place really got my taste buds going. I am very allergic to fish and seafood but their menu gave me lots of other choices. We have put off eating here thinking it was pretentious and over priced. Not so. I was there for a decent meal not entertainment and... More

It was our first time in Redding and we were exploring the area around our hotel. A local suggested a Japanese restaurant just a block away, so we headed that way. Upon entering the restaurant we found it was both a teppanyaki style and traditional restaurant. We joined the small crowd waiting near the doorway and perused the menu. Comments... More

Do not like their seating arrangements. If one waits 30 minutes for a table to sit in the middle, we should be placed in the middle. They said that since we were the first people at the table that we had to sit on the side. The only way we could move was if no one was seated at the... More
