I have tried every BBQ place in and around Redding. I have to say Brick's is my favorite. The service is always very good. The drinks plentiful and the food more than I can eat. We've learned to ask for a sample plate of each of their sauces. That way each bite is an adventure. They are opened till 9pm... More

BBQ is one of my favorite foods. I've eaten in many of the well known BBQ cities: KC, Memphis, Texas. I don't expect exceptional BBQ in most cities not known for it. I felt the food here was average with good sides to accompany the BBQ. would certainly go back.

Brick's Smokehouse hosted my birthday party this week, and I am here to tell you no request was too big! nor detail too small!... Brick's set up a delicious tri-tip, pulled pork slider, beans and slaw buffet, and offered beer & wine to fifty of my closest friends & family all at a very affordable price! The day before the... I had been a customer at Bricks since it first opened. For the first two years it was a good value. As time passed, the portions got smaller and the prices went up. I no longer go to Bricks as I have found better values. I always like to give local business a chance, however less for more is not... More

We arrived in Redding hungry and tired after a day of traveling from Oregon. After checking into our hotel, it was time to eat, but what to choose? After looking over our closest choices, we thought barbecue sounded good -- so glad we came here! The pulled pork is terrific but the Tri tip is fabulous -- so moist and... More

We really wanted to love this place, we are bbq fanatics and always love to find a great new spot. The first impression is that this place isn't finished. It looks like an office building they started converting and then gave up on. The cleanliness was iffy at best....those baseboards don't clean themselves you know! No problems with the service... Food was awful! Slop ,gross and cold!!the service was worse than awful !!!!! Beans tasted old and our spicy Mac and cheese was cold and starchy looks like it was yesterday's. Our server was so rushed and more involved with the bar!!! Or someone at the bar. We should of sat over there ,maybe the food would of been fresher.

Happened to stop in a Bricks after driving past it a million times it seems like. Staff was great when we told them it was the first time there and were giving a sample of all of the various bbq sauces even before ordering. Food was great. And staff all seemed to really enjoy working there. I ordered the tri... More

On a trip to Redding we stopped in this restaurant. It was really busy and the staff did a great job keeping up. Upon arriving, we could smell the amazing BBQ smoke. The portions were just enough to be filling without overdoing it, and the ribs were quite tasty. Over all, it was a good little spot without being over... More

Before they moved to a bigger location you got a lot more food and the price seemed better. I ordered the ribs and cole slaw, they didn't give beans anymore with the meal. Their beans were odd tasting anyway, but for $10 you get two small ribs. Not much meat, sort of grizzly and tough. The cole slaw was marginal.... More
