My husband and I went to dinner here with our son and daughter in law while we were visiting Redding. Each of us has diet limitations and preferences that make it a challenge to suit everyone's needs. But this restaurant has a wonderful menu with entree options that pleased everyone. My husband and I both thought the food had too... More

The food is a little pricey, but worth it! I have eaten cheeseburgers at a lot of different restaurants, and the Moonstone Bistro cheeseburger was by far the best I've ever had. Incredible flavor!!

Thanks for ruining my 85 year old mother’s, Mother’s Day. I made a reservation for 3 at Moonstone at 6:15 to celebrate an early Mother’s Day. When we arrived we were directed to a small table next to the kitchen. It was small and crammed next to a large group celebrating a birthday. We requested a booth as there were... More

After snowshoeing early in the morning on Brokeoff Mtn 80 miles away in Lassen Natl Park, by 530 on this Saturday night we wanted a great glass of wine (and a cocktail), a creative appetizer or two, a tasty dinner of local, sustainable fare prepared by a talented kitchen, served up by an accommodating staff, and in a friendly no... We tried the Sunday brunch at Moonstone Bistro. We were seated right away by friendly staff, our sever was great. From our table we were able see into the cooking area which wasn't a bad thing at this restaurant. The Chef is a young man with a focused vision on his food. We were able to hear him communicating to... More

Moonstone Bistro has a great menu based primarily on local fresh food. The menu changes seasonally. All food is prepared fresh in house. Chef Che and his staff are very creative and the food is consistently high quality. The restaurant is small and intimate and service is usually excellent. We have dined here many times for lunch and dinner and... More

The offerings are about as close to fresh and real as you can get. The menu is seasonal and the wine selections are very good.

I find the Moonstone Bistro food to be wonderful. The chef has an ecclectic pallet and adds a high quality twist to his menu. High quality meaning always fresh, natural and organic when possible. The venue is small and intimate. This would be a go to for valentines and other romantic adventures if the location was a bit more desireable... More

Upon arrival, we were a little surprised to find the restaurant in a strip mall. However, once inside the decor made you forget about that detail. The service was fine and the wine list decent. We started with the deconstructed shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and it was the favorite part of our meal; it was super tasty. Both of... More

Use to meet friends here until I moved. Met a friend here in December and it only has got so much yummier, if that was possible. The food is out of this world. The deserts are to die for. It is not a cheap place to go to, but in the long run is is much more for your money.... More
