I was looking for something other than the usual burger joint/fried chicken/taco place for dinner and came across this place. The exterior is unassuming, (other than the macaws in the parking lot) while the interior is quite grand with chandeliers and a large altar. I had the summer rolls which were terrific - HUGE, the size of burritos, and a... More

Enjoyed the drunk noodles but I don't like seeing birds in cages. I had a coconut based soup too which was excellent.

The food was a bit bland and my rice dish was over cooked and to muusgy. Plenty of food for the price. The bird cages outside were worth the stop.

Nipa's was recommended to me by an associate, and although I am not a huge fan of Thai food, generally, my traveling companion is. Happily, Nipa's exceeded my expectations, and I really enjoyed my lunch (drunken noodles). My friend had a noodle salad and announced that it was delicious. We split the spring rolls. I am primarily a vegetarian, so... More

The food was not fresh and the presentation was not pleasing to the eye to say the least. I won't be returning.

I didnt expect to find a gem in Redding, but I did! Nipa's ambiance is cheerful and welcoming. The staff is very attentive to the customer needs. We were greeted by a very wonderful waitress who handled our orders and provided insight into the restaurant and it's history. The food.... out of this world. I had the Yellow Curry and... More

The big plus here for me was the very enjoyable decorations and ambiance. Its not fancy, its just nicely done with interesting knick knacks all around. And I also noticed the background music was some Buddhist chanting, which enhanced the authenticity. Our waitress was a very pleasant young woman. They had two free starters, both vegetarian. One was a spicy... More

We have traveled from shore to shore and try to sample Thai food along the way. This is definitely the best Drunken Noodles I have had. The restaurant is very clean with a fun decor. The service was friendly informative and efficient. It may become our favorite in Redding.

We stepped in around 9:30 pm or so Memorial day weekend after a long drive into Redding. This was one of the few places near our hotel that was open. Ordered veg panang curry, Pad thai, spring rolls. Medium was a little on the spicy side but ok. Food was ok but definitely unlike any other thai we have had... More

First, TripAdvisor currently lists this restaurant as Taiwanese rather than Thai. That is a problem. (Correction submitted) The restaurant is clean and the setting is pleasant. Service was reasonable, even though there was only one lunch server. The food was fresh tasting and pleasant. There is a choice of how hot the foods should be. I would recommend not going... More
