This was great food and plenty of it. The location was a bit hard to find but was well worth it. This was a recommendation from the hotle staff.

We needed sustenance and were directed to Janya's on a weeknight. We don't like hot spicy and told our waitperson and all came out perfect to our tastes. Try the #15 cocoanut milk soup. A table of guys came in and admitted they were not familiar with Thai food. They had a great time and everybody was trying every dish.... More

What a delightful surprise! Tasteful ambience, delicious and versatile choices, healthy wine pour. We went back the next day to its tucked back location in the small strip mall and were so sad to find it closed on Monday. But it will definitely be on our list for next visit. Japanese eggplant with tofu and basil was mouth watering. My... More

Ate here 8/25/14. In Redding to do some fishing and decided to eat here based on TripAdvisor rating this the 10th Best in Redding. Sure needed GPS to find the place. Located in an out of the way little strip center. Decor inside was nice enough. Staff and service was excellent. Food was only average. Wife ordered BBQ Pork and... More

This is our second year driving through Redding. We stopped in again at Janya for dinner. We are surprised to find authentic Thai food in such an out of the way place in the middle of no where. The restaurant was empty, we were seated right away and our food came out pretty quickly. We had their papaya salad, shrimp... More

While on a recent trip to Oregon, my husband and I stopped in Redding California. We had the pleasure of eating at Janya’s Thai Cuisine. It is an unassuming little place that packs a punch when it comes to food. I started with Fresh Rolls and when they arrived I hesitated to bite into them because they looked just beautiful.... More

My wife and I were on a road trip to the Oregon coast and we stayed in Redding for one night in each direction. On the first stop we ate at Janya Thai based on TripAdvisor reviews. The service was attentive and the food was wonderful. Right then and there we reserved a table for our return visit to Redding... More

This was a delicious restaurant. Don't be bothered that it's in a strip mall. The spring rolls and the curry were delicious. Service was also excellent.

We had the Chicken Basil and Tom Kha. Excellent! Spicy and fragrant. The Basil was a little oily but otherwise truly excellent.
