Order the Artichoke!

The gilled Artichoke was really good don't miss it. My wife and I had appetizers in the bar with drinks. We also had a $20 voucher that we purchased for $6 from the Hotel. My scotch with my wife's wine and our shared Artichoke destroyed the $20 voucher but it was great.

We had the pleasure of taking a dear British friend out for a Sunday lunch and we happened on CR Gibbs. What a lucky choice because our friend ordered the fish and chips and was ever so impressed. He said it beat out what he got at home. Our other lunch entrées were also yummy, but I can't remember what... More

If you are a fan of artichokes, you need to order the roasted artichoke on the appetizers. It was fully cooked, tender, meaty, and served with an exquisite lemon sauce as a dip. It was cut in half and de-choked, so we devoured the entire offering, minus the leaves. Our dinner was a very good chicken salad, with general portion... More

I have eaten at this restaurant twice in the last 6 months. I am not impressed. I ate at the bar which usually in most places has great service-Not Here! I have had two different items in my two visits. The last time was a steak-again not impressed. The prices are high, food quality poor and the staff would rather... More

After a long road trip, we enjoyed this restaurant. Great service- very attentive and helpful. I ordered a wine I didn't like and the waitress could tell without me saying anything and exchanged it for another drink. Great food for kids and Adults and we all enjoyed the snicker ice cream pie dessert. Nice ambience with both indoor and out... More

I am not a chain restaurant fan. I don't like Appleby's, Chili's, TGIFs', Olive Garden, etc. if you like those places, C.R.'s will make you happy. Please don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our roasted artichoke and being able to sit outside on their patio. However the service was slow and uninterested. The drinks were not very good and the... You'll find a warm welcome, attentive servers and wonderful food that is worth the price. Not the cheapest choice for lunch in town, but the quality far exceeds local competitors! Great place for a business lunch if you want the deal to go through or for the staff to leave feeling valued. Love to come in the evening with my... More

CR Gibbs has long been a standard of quality dining and entertainment in Redding. From the iconic shrimp bowls to the best chocolate martinis on the planet, the CR Gibbs experience never disappoints! Be sure to catch the live music on the patio during the Spring and Summer months. You will find the staff delightful and attentive. A must stop... More

We had dinner here while on a stop at the Best Western during our California roadtrip. despite just having gone because it was close by, I'm glad we did. We sat on the outdoor patio, and My wife and I, both had the pizzas, and while she was less than enthused with her bruschetta style pizza, I really enjoyed my... More
