We went back to the Green Barn and it remains a very good steakhouse. I've now visited it several times and it retains its quality. The steaks and the Prime Rib are great. The service is low key but very helpful.

It's no longer on the regular menu, but if you come here ask if they have the trout. It's the only thing I've ordered from here in the last two years and I'm hooked!

I travel for business and eat in too many restaurants over a years time. When in the Red Bluff area during the dinner hour, I always enjoy a fine meal at the Green Barn. It is clean, nicey furnished and has awesome food.

We are on our way north after wintering in Mexico. Second time in Red Bluff but first visit to the Green Barn. We try to "reward" ourselves with a good meal at the end of a long day on the road and the Green Barn did not disappoint. This place is not fancy nor could it be described as fine... More

This looked like an old place from the outside, and when we got inside it was. The wood paneling is gorgeous, but the walls are in need of new paint. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient. We had one of their house bottles of wine for dinner. My husband had the BBQ ribs and I had the ribeye. My... More

The steak sandwich and the Reuben were really good as was the friendly service. Lots of food and reasonably priced. Nice selection of beers and wines, too. Located east of 5 and right on 36 as you are going out of town, it is an excellent place to stop if you are on your way up to Lassen. And if... More
