I've been here a few times now, and although the service is great, the food is always really bland. Definitely not authentic Mexican... When we visit our son in Aliso Viejo, he always likes to go to MI Casa. It is a drive from their house, but they like it. The margaritas are good. There is endless chips and salsa. The food is served in large portions and pretty good. You definitely will not leave hungry. Worth the drive to try.

The tortilla soup is the Bomb and only $3 a bowl at happy hour 4-6 Tuesday through Friday. Awesome street tacos on Taco Tuesdays. The menu is a little above average, but most of the food is really good!!

Met friends for a happy hour drink and food- came here because its so close to where we work. Buy because there was a party in the patio, where happy hour usually takes place, we had to sit in the dining room. This was ok with the 6 of us girls except that the restaurant would not honor the happy... More

This is a very nice restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, traditional Mexican menu. I ordered the tamale plate which was very good. The tamale was Very Large, I could hardly eat any of the rice and beans. Tortilla chips are complementary and served immediately with three selections of salsa. All of our group enjoyed their meal with lots of leftovers!

This is more or less an update to my last review, as my family wanted to go here, so I decided to give it another whack. Let me open with a question or two. Do you like cheese? Yes? On a scale of 1-10 how much do you like cheese? If you answered with a number under 11, then you... More

If you do happy hour at Mi Casa, you can do it cheap OR you can get caught up in their extended menu. The trick is... if you go "cheap," that's the kind of food you get. Their tacos are not only small street tacos, they barely have anything in them. Their drinks were good... not amazing. If you're looking... More

Had the carnitas brisket and chicken mole. Both were very nice indeed. I always like their tortillas. They're more buttery than most. Will be back.

I'll start by saying this, I have grown up on Mexican food. My family really likes it, and I know good Mexican food and bad Mexican food. This is BAD Mexican food, as in it is poorly seasoned, and to me it seems, they tried to cover up the poor taste by giving you a lot. What was in this... More

Mi Casa had great atmosphere and the food is excellent, My wife loves Mexican food and this is one of her favorites. We are always amazed by the portion sizes. Three people could share their burrito and not go away hungry. The soups are to die for. They also have a great bar and outdoor dining area with big screen... More
