We live in Rancho and thought we should try Delicias. The food was expensive, as we assumed it would be, unless you ordered pizza.It was acceptable, but very average. They charge more for their drinks and wine than ANY San Diego restaurant which was very dissapointing. The restaurant was dead for a Friday night. I think we now know why. more

A friend told me about Delicias in Rancho Santa Fe. The neighborhood is really ritzy so I didn't know what to expect. We went on a Sunday because we heard they had a Family Night deal. They sure did! Dinner was $20 for a salad and a pizza (or pasta). Then they told us bottles of wine were half price!... more

Hi, My wife & I eat out alot in the San Diego Area. We have been going to Delicias for over 10 years and it's back on the map!!!! An all around Excellent Night Out, becuase it was spent with great food, great wine, and great music! We went to Delicias after it was recommended to us by some good friends and we were pleasantly suprised by one thing after another. Dinner was impeccable, I had the Bistro Steak which was not only cooked perfectly, but full of flavor.... more

Perhaps it was because our expectaions were raised, we were very disappointed with our choice in returning to Delicias. Three or four years ago I enjoyed a magical dinner on the patio with a large group of colleagues. Recently we spent a night with friends at the Four Seasons Aviara and I suggested Delicias for our one dinner. Big mistake.... more

Had dinner at Delicias last night and it was heavenly. From the service, the menu, the wine and then obviously, the food. I had the Dover sole which was perfectly paired with the waiters wine suggestion. The berry crisp and icewine were a wonderful dessert. We didn't have a reservation but were seated right away when we arrived at 8pm.... more

I do not recommend this place at all. A friend and I ate here recently and we ordered (cold) salmon pizza. The pizza took over an hour to arrive. First of all, it wasn't even cooked and we sent it back. Secondly, why would a cold food item take over an hour to prepare, especially when we were the only... more
