This is a cute restaurant within Rancho Santa Fe, frequented by locals. There is not a great choice in the village, and so we went there almost as a compulsory visit - and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, and the staff a stand-out for friendly customer service. Beware that they have live entertainment, and as the place... More

We liked the warmth of the restaurant at dinner time, the comfort of having good spoace between tables and attentive staff. The food was very good with an excellent weiner shnitzel that may be the house specialty. We were treated by our friends but I am sure it is quite expensive but definitely worth a visit if you are staying... More

The restaurant has been under the same ownership with their 5 star chef for over 25 years. The reason for their longevity is simple-the service, the ambiance and the food is without fault.

We are becoming regulars at Mille Fleur, thanks to the location in Rancho Santa Fe and the great food. The service is always excellent and the food is off the charts. Can be pricey - but was not too bad, around $100 each including cocktails and wine, plus three courses. I had herring and beet starter followed by duck breast... More

Loved our private table where we could hear everyone in our group. The waiter explained the restaurant and the menu with great enthusiasm. He made us all feel like special guests . Everyone in our party had a great meal and we will return again. Only wish we had time to have enjoyed the music in the bar longer. Grammy... More

Our waiter (Andrew) provided five star service and the food was 4+. We loved our ravioli dish, gnocchi and lobster salad. The bread was also delicious. The atmosphere is always 'top drawer.' The only regret is we thought the maître d' was a bit pretentious. For fine wine lovers, I also think they should allow more than two bottle corkage... More

We closed the restaurant for an all company dinner. The service was really good. All the food came out together and hot.

We sat on their patio to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. It was a perfect California evening. The patio has a quiet fountain, cute twinkly lights, and a smooth saxophone player. The sweetbreads/salad was marvelous, as were the escargots. For an entrée we enjoyed the veal schnitzel. Their house chardonnay is excellent. The maitre d made sure our table was in... More

You will not be disappointed. Quality, service, friendliness of the staff and owner, wine choices and menu selection are key reasons why Mille Fleurs stands above the rest. We are relatively price insensitive so the bill does not come into play. We prefer quality over quantity and this meets and exceeds are expectations. Relaxing atmosphere. Engaging music. Beautiful clientele.
