Put this restaurant on your list of must eats. The food selection seems like it is very conscious of seasonal vegetables. Each dish seems to be put together with most care. We enjoyed a variety of dishes at our table. All were delicious. The views of course were beautiful. We were there on a Friday evening and I loved sitting... More

8pm reservation. Sat outside one row from "A" seating next to edge at 815pm. Very busy night. English muffin bread served warm and enjoyed by all who are ok with carbs. Endive ceasar should not be called a ceasar. Not much flavor and basically ugly looking. Charred broccolini over oiled, spilled onto tablecloth, cooked properly but weird dish. Loup de... More

Beautiful restaurant and fantastic views but it stops there. We had a 7:30 reservation and the waiter told us how fantastic the octopus and the bone in ribeye was and then proceeded to tell us they were out of both. We waited a long time for both courses and the service was mediocre.

This is the second time I have eaten at Mar'sel. The first time we brought a business contact for dinner. The price was outrageously priced and the food mediocre. This time I brought my mother for a themed lunch. The price was made even more outrageous by the blatantly horrible food we were served. My mother's Loco Moco - a... More

Had four of our dinners here during a five night stay at the luxury Terranea resort. Met the new chef de cuisine the first night and was fully thrilled by this charming restaurant. They serve delicious fish dishes, have a good wine carte and for my sons of 12 and 15 the burger was the best ever. And all combined... More

I really enjoyed the all you can eat seafood buffet. I like the fact that they did not just sit the crab legs out to allow them to get cold on the bar. Every time we finished a plate a hot plate of crab legs came from the back.

very good food. If you are in the area, this restaurant is not to be missed. On a clear day you can see Catalina. Although a limited menu, the food was amazingly good. The halibut was excellent as was the fingerling potatoes. My only comment that is slightly negative is that our water was not replenished and it was not... More

We like this spot, beautiful views if you're on patio or front of restaurant. Limited menu, expensive, a bit full of themselves. Having said that, it's a lovely spot. Would like to have a few more simple items on menu

We enjoyed one of our best dining experiences at this restaurant. It was my birthday celebration and we had reservations for 8PM (I had called TWICE, but the reservations were not to be found. However, the staff made it all perfect and smooth - and we were seated at a table right out on the bluff !!) We had soft... More
