Very busy and a fun crowd or locals and visitors.

Have not been back here for ages, but still going strong. Large and quite nice portions of many different pastas. Cesare salad was good as well. Very traditional menu, very gay clientele, fun booths to sit in. Steak and chicken on the menu as well. Oh, good cocktails.

I hadn't been to Shame on the Moon for many years--not because I had anything against the place but just because there are so many good restaurants in the Palm Springs area. I'm glad I went back, because the restaurant hadn't changed much since I'd last been there and the atmosphere, food, and service were fine. Tables are not so... More

Pleasant evening, food was quite good but no Happy Hour offerings which is the norm these days. It can be an expensive couple of hours.

After many years I returned and found this restaurant maintained a very good quality at reasonable pricing, all in a nice setting with good service.

A must if you are in Palm Springs. Classic old style Palm Springs restaurant, fine dining, friendly quiet atmosphere. Elegant yet not overstated. You have a feeling of old Hollywood.

Shame on the Moon is simply the best. This is where locals throughout the valley come for superb cuisine in a wonderful club like setting. The best cocktails anywhere in the Palm Springs area. The menu is diverse and to an item, everything we have tried over the past 20 years of dining here has been excellent. The seared Ahi... More

We ate at Shame on the Moon for the second time this week; we include a dinner there every time we visit the desert. We were fortunate to get a reservation for their first seating on New Year's eve, and had a delightful and delicious dinner. This is a "real" restaurant that knows how to deliver a first class, traditional... More

Warm atmosphere and friendly clientele...enjoyed "seafood"...yes, "seafood" in the desert! We mingled with a lovely couple as we dined at the bar...the menu offers many choices and diners swear it's all great! Bartender was fun and was second to none...you should stop by for a bite and a drink!!!

The way this is laid out it is open and quite noisy. Not for those that are seeking an intimate relaxing dining kind of atmosphere. One can hear conversation from ones table to that of some of the other tables and from the bar, especially the screechy obnoxious laughter. Food was good. Pretty good service. However, I was the only... More
