Good vakue

Mimi's is a great low to mid priced restaurant experience. Not all dishes are super but their salads are outstanding. Cappuccino is top drawer. Bakery products very good. All near high end but mid to low prices. Good service always. Deserts are very good also. Not all entrees will ring the... read more

We usually eat breakfast here a few times each year during our week-long stay in Rancho Mirage. In the past Mimi's has been packed with people and has had very good food and service. This visit was sad for us. The place is empty, yet our food took an hour to come out and was terrible. Our waitress was nice... More

The title says it all. We visited mid-afternoon for a late lunch. The place was more than half empty, but still took nearly 30 minutes to get our sandwiches after ordering. And, they were not even all that good once arrived.

Saturday morning driving on 111 and we see Mimi's. We make a u-turn and go back. Big mistake. Walked into an empty greeting area. Stood around for 5 minutes. Hostess showed up with another lady in tow. She actually mumbled something that I did not understand none on which was "Welcome to Mimi's". She led us to a table where... More

We were originally surprised when we visited Mimi's that it wasn't very busy. Prices were reasonable and service was fairly prompt. We each had a meal that used a sauce, and the reason quickly became apparent. Although the ingredients were of good quality, the sauce was incredibly salty. When we complained, we were told, "that's the way it comes". Well,... More

A group of four met for Sat 1000 breakfast, order placed promptly, coffee served promptly, then nothing but more coffees for an hour! When we repeatedly asked, were told the kitchen had received a takeout order for fifty and that took precedent. Despite our disgruntled feedback, no compensation was offered. Next time we will demand compensation - if there is... More

Four of us went for lunch. The place was not busy even at 12:30 lunch hour. Two of us had the beef dip which wasn't that good even with the extra charge for the mushrooms, cheese, and onions. One of us ordered a medium burger, which was burned to a charcoal crisp on the bottom. The last person had the... More

I visited this restaurant on two different occasions - once for breakfast and once for lunch. The website indicated they open for breakfast at 7 a.m. but the date I was there they did not open until 7:05 a.m. Another person waiting indicated it is hit or miss. If a place advertises they open at 7 - then they should... More

That's what I ordered and it was a fantastic combination - Mimi's bakes their own breads, rolls and pies - it is a cozy place...it even had a fire going in the Reception/Lobby area. The service was a little lax, but the food certainly made up for it. It's a sure bet when in the area for sumptuous breakfast.

We came to Mimi’s by chance after failing to locate another restaurant. Nice off street parking with an ample sized lot. Our greeter was pleasant and welcoming, seating us immediately. The décor was pleasing and comfortable with the premises spotlessly clean. Our waiter was very courteous helped with recommendations. My wife had one of the salads which was fresh and... More
