The food is just as good at the new location.

The food is still excellent although the venue has changed. The new location needs to make it easier to hear your tablemates speak. The high ceilings make it quite difficult to communicate easily but the food is as excellent as ever. We have eaten at this restaurant ever since our first visit to... read more

Excellent menu. Delicious Thai food. Prepared well and served with a "smile". Hard to think of a better option in the desert. I think the current management are second or third generation. Highly recommended. They also have a place down in Palm Springs.

This is a must every year I'm in The Desert. Love the El Paseo location. Food and service was spectacular. Entrees are made fresh. Flavors blend very well. New location is beautiful. Love the complimentary valet parking.

We got lucky when we wanted Thai food but didn't have reservations for this place one early evening. We were seated in the bar area at a large table set for eight. As it was fairly early, we ended up having the whole table to ourselves. Our server was pleasant and helpful. Our food came quickly and it was made... More

The new location of Thai Smile is large and open. One can eat outside on the patio which is lovely. The menu is much the same as the old Thai Smile. Thai Smile is extremely busy, and reservations are suggested. It can be quite noisy when busy, but people seem to not mind and generally enjoy. Service is much improved... More

Stopped for lunch and had a great appetizer of chicken satays and a terriaki beef which we shared. Food and service were excellent. Hope to be able to dine here again before we leave the area.

Thai Smile has moved the meaning of Thai in the valley to a whole new level! From a small venue downtown they have organized a highly efficent Palm Springs facility. On El Paseo they have a nicely run higher end restaurant with Valet parking and provide excelent food and service. You can avoid the valet by parking behind and walking... More

I have never had a bad meal. And in fact the Thai food here is far better then any other Thai in the valley. Each Thai smile has it's own owner. I find the use of oil to be a bit excessive so i always ask for lite oil. as little as possible.

The food was outstanding; all the dishes were well-prepared with real flavor and quality ingredients. My wife liked the "Pad Thai", although I did not care for it. The problem was the awful service. We had to wait almost an hour between when our order were taken and the food was served. After thirty minutes the waitress asked "how is... More

Thai Smile has stepped up a notch in moving from Rancho Mirage to open on El Paseo. The food remains great and the ambience and location are superb. The chicken skewers appitizers and the house salad are very generous portion. I would only suggest one, not both as starters. The Pad Thai and the Chicken currey were delicious entrees and... More
