Old School desert

This old school landmark has some great food. Highly recommend the foie gras. High quality food, good wine list in the desert. Physical plant is a bit dated but feels clean and welcoming. Good place to have a family Xmas dinner in the front private dining room.

Wally's is one of the best restaurants in the greater Palm Springs. The food was amazing and the service is second to none. Very nice!

Good food and service but not good enough to justify the price! There are many of other restaurants in the Coachella Valley that are just as good and none are as expensive.

Amazing from start to finish!! There were four of us in our group, so we decided to all try different dishes and try a little of everything. Let me tell you, we were all so glad we did. There are too many enticing things to choose from. From the escargot to the foie gras..... the albacore picatta to the octopus....the... More

For our second dining experience during ''restaurant week'' this early summer, we visited Wally's with two friends / neighbors. This writer enjoyed an excellent green salad and a salmon filet, while others had the rack of lamb and a roast chicken dish. Without a doubt we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, and found the fix-price menu developed for the week... More

We had been wanting to try Wally's for awhile now and finally decided to do it during restaurant week and before they closed for the summer. We ordered the restaurant week menu and were very disappointed, especially in the main entrees. The steelhead fish was overcooked, served with what tasted like frozen carrots and green beans and didn't come with... More

Wally's is a very expensive restaurant to visit. In the past we have not enjoyed the food so we quit going. We did decide to try again during Restaurant week. In our opinion the food has improved greatly. The Service is excellent. The one issue that upset me and I may or may not visit again is the pressure they... More

Not much more to add beyond the mostly favorable reviews. This is a fine dining establishment with all of appropriate attention paid to every detail one would expect from such a place. Service is impeccable -- the request for extra sauce for the brilliantly prepared chicken was met with "absolutely" and it appeared in a silver server within 90 seconds.... More

We visited this restaurant during Restaurant Week and it is excellent. The three course dinner was extraordinary. Except for the hostess who seemed to be new on the job and was having a hard time finding our reservation everything else was great.as far as the food and service. It has lots of ambiance with the piano and sax player but... More

If you happen to be in the Palm Springs/ Rancho Mirage area of the desert, do yourself a favor and visit this spectacular restaurant! Find the time to dine, wine and enjoy this fine restaurant! Beautiful decor, outstanding menu and A+ service! Even better than Barndiva in Healdsburg, Sonoma wine country!
