When you are the best no need to say much. This is by far the best of the best of all restaurants in the desert. The family truly cares and always there to ensure ytou are having a most memorable dining experience. Thank you for keeping up such high standards at a time when so many places cut corners or... It is old school inside but it is charming. The decor is mirrored sixties and the wait staff reminds you of an old school expensive restaurant. The food however is excellent. We had the pork loin and the fillet of beef. You could cut both with a fork. The wait staff was supervised by Rober who was very kind and... More

Too bad we are in our 50s. We aren't regulars but went for my wife's 50 th bday, heard great things about the food and service. Food was great, but service not so much. Waited for menues, waited for apps and after 15 minutes waiting at the end of the meal, I had to flag down a waiter for the... More

Love this place! It had everything that you would expect for fine dining! The ambience, the food, the service and to top it off the Live Saxophone player gave it that romantic flavor! If you have a special occasion or you just enjoy fine dining then this is the place!

Ambiance is very nice, old world and not found often in the Coachella Valley. Bar is excellent. Food can be from O.K. to excellent. Generally service is superb. Portions are just about right. I gave this rating because of the expense. This restaurant is open late enough so that you can have dessert, a drink, etc. after the theater.

The service and ambiance was excellent. Presentation was perfect and so was the food. The atmosphere was what you expect from a restaurant of the caliber. We highly recommend it

I really wanted to love this place, but just didn't. The atmosphere feels like a throw-back to the 1970s (not at all shabby, just dated), though the menu had numerous fresh, organic options. My meal was ok - but not worth the expense. That said, my partner really enjoyed her meal and would go back.

Dined here on Christmas night. Our experience was the total opposite of previous reviewer. This is one of those nights like Valentines Day and Mother's Day where there is a huge chance things will not go well. However, From start to almost finish, the experience was top notch. The "team" serving the room we were in, was well organized and... More

Our Christmas in Palm Desert was full of unknowns .... And our biggest dilemma was where to have Christmas dinner? Our concierge at the Marriott Shadow Ridge emailed a recommendation to try Wally's Desert Turtle and following some Tripadvisor research, we booked a table! What a result! the place was packed with a range of customers, young and old, families... More
