75th Birthday Party!

This restaurant was very nice, old school Palm Desert. High end menu with great food but it will cost you. Service was excellent and not to stuffy as some places like this can be.

Evidently this is a classy local place. I was not impressed with the service at all. It took an inordinate amount of time just to receive a menu. After my dinner was served, no one came back to check on me. The entree was cold and not impressive. For the money spent there, it was NOT worth it.

I have been coming to the desert for years and never dined here, same on me! Actually booked off of Tripadvisor and boy was I glad. It's a free standing building that when inside takes you back the old days of really fine dining The main dining room is dark comfortable and just really nice Great menu and anytime I... More

We have always loved Wally's for fine dining! The wild mushroom soup is amazing and the pan-roasted Hercules Ranch filet of beef is probably the best filet I have ever tasted.

One of my favorites in Palm Desert. Great food, service and ambiance. I had the Lamb Chops and my wife had the filet. Both were cooked to perfection. BUT the highlight on the evening was the Grand Marnier Soufflé! I don't think I've ever had a better one.

This is an expensive (but worth every penny), upscale restaurant with elegant, old school (perfect) service. The waiters serve fresh, piping hot rolls, one at a time with a good helping of butter. But they come around again if you would like more. They don't clear plates until everyone is done eating...an old style, but sorely missed one. Ceasar salad... More

Excellent service, from the valet through to the servers. Ambience is nice, with the live background music at a perfect volume (loud enough to hear but not so loud as to interfere with table conversation). Unfortunately, no kids menu although they did try to accommodate the kids preferences.

We are here last night. I asked to be sat away from the piano and we were sat in a booth tucked away from others and far away from the piano, however we sat directly under a skylight which ruined the candle lit ambiance. The food was just okay. We ordered French onion soup which was unremarkable. Then the carpaccio.... More

Felt like we stepped back in time when we entered this restaurant. Expected the Rat Pack to come walking by and maybe sing a few songs. Mix of diners was on the older side, some in jackets and ties, others in shorts and t-shirts. Piano and saxaphone player did short sets creating a very laid back atmosphere, maybe too much... More

Boring restaurant, too stuffy, zero ambiance, average food for a big price! Won't be back unless thing change. Surviving on a dated reputation.
