We met friends here for an early dinner on a drizzly January evening. The restaurant sits on the corner of the Highway 111 and is in the inner corner of a shopping center with plenty of parking. The building and outdoor patio are most impressive, and we learned that starting in the spring the... read more

Another fabulous Sunday Brunch with Mariachi, Mimosa, and carved beef. Under the umbrella of trees, it is perfectly charming. Oh and highly recommend their mini churros on the bar. They were so warm, gooey and cinnamon rich. Tasted one from my youngest and ended up eating like 5! So worth the calorie fest.

The food here is some of the best Mexican food my husband and I have ever eaten! They make thw guacamole table side - it is so fresh! I love the fish tacos; the chile rellanos are superb! I ordered the house margarita, which was perfect. We will be definitely return!

While we go to Las Casuelas with some regularity when we stay at our place in Palm Desert, the food is pretty avarage among Mexican restaurants. The chips and salsa are good, as are the tostadas, but nothing really shines. The same is true of te restaurants in La Quinta and Palm Desert -- good, consistent, good enoug to return... More

One of our favorite spots after a hike...so much food and so delicious. We took our server recommendations and did not disappoint. Easy to share an entree. Chips great, salsa amazing. Sat on the expansive patio with our dog and felt right at home. Service friendly, inviting and typical desert area awesome attitudes!

The restaurant is like a little oasis just off the busy Highway 111. One can dine either inside or out - I recommend out as its charming and the weather nearly always permits this, except during the heat of summer and when the rains come. The food is plentiful, tasty and varied, enservice is friendly and there is a mariachi... More

We have dined at Las Casuals in La Quinta for many years. This time we wanted to go someplace closer to where we were staying so we went to the Rancho Mirage location. We had no idea how bad Mexican food could be! One of the family members was sick to her stomach half way through her meal and none... More

There are 4 restaurants in this chain, but we favor Casuelas Nuevas in Rancho Mirage. We have been there before and were never disappointed. We ate there on a Sunday evening, and although it was quite busy, with many "family" groups of six or more; the service was fast and very professional, the food hot and promptly delivered, and the... Then add their fabulous Mexican cuisine and you get a winner. We enjoyed their Chili Rellenos this time. Yum!
