Happy hour consists of half priced drinks (Margaritas, well drinks, wine). One of the best margaritas I have had (not too sweet, and not watered down like many happy hour drinks). Happy hour menu specials (in the bar area) were excellent. I had the chicken burrito that was full of chicken and cheese only (no filler rice or beans in... More

This place is always on our must-do list when we visit the area. Their $4 happy hour margaritas are awesome, in part because they make their own mix. Their bar menu offers a respectable number of $4-$6 items, perfect for a light meal. And did I mention their salsa? It's some of the best I've eaten, and I'm a salsa... More

We arrived on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. The bar waiter found us a place to sit and offered that we could order our dinner from here so that we could watch the football game while we ate. Very thoughtful of him. And he included good service for our meal in with the service he provided to... More

When in the area, be sure to stop in at Las Casuelas for some of the best Mexican food you'll find. Great decor, fun atmosphere with Mariachis playing, and ample portions at a reasonable price. Good service, great food.

We love Las Casuelas Nuevas. We take all our friends there about 7 times a year and have a great time. Our groups usually range from 10-20 and they accommodate us without a problem. I have had larger groups of 50 go there. Never a problem. The service is always perfect and the food excellent. They have the best chunky... More

I ordered a combination plate with a tamale smothered with the house sauce. The sauce just didn't taste good. The rice and beans were good. Then later that night while sleeping the sauce came up and I sprinted to the bathroom as my body gave back that awful tamale sauce. The service at the restaurant was excellent and we were... More

We apologize for your awful late night experience at home. Perhaps the acidity of the tamale sauce caused an acid reflux? We are definitely taste testing the sauce and working on your critiques. If you would give us another chance, we would love to send you a gift certificate if you email us at lcnuevas@gmail.com. Happy Holidays! Regards, The Delgado... More

We ate in both Las Casuelas Nuevas and Las Casuelas Terraza and all four of our party liked the Nuevas more, with the exception of the Scratch Margarita at Terraza, which was really wonderful. The enchiladas were excellent in both but the sauce more mellow and satisfying at Nuevas. The tamales seemed pretty much the same, both good but not... More

I have never been a Big Fan of Mexican food until we went to Las Casuelas Nuevas, the food was outstanding and the price and the service were both excellent, would highly recommend to anyone who likes Mexican food and does not want to be disappointed.

We've been to this place many times for brunch and love it! BUT...went for a lunch with some friends and we weren't too pleased! The service was very slow, the chips were stale and the food was just ok and over-priced. It's a cool place to go because they have a nice patio outside and when the weather is nice...it's... More

Had dinner on a Saturday with a group of 8 which can sometimes be challenging, but it was flawless. The patio is so pretty at night with the trees and twinkly lights, definitely sit on the patio if the weather is cooperating. The waiters were on it, the drinks came fast and frequently, the food equally fast and hot and... More
