From the moment we walked in, we should have known. The hostess was friendly, just not very bright. The waiter was completely worthless. I should have taken the order myself...maybe I would have done a better job! After a snotty response to, "are there any specials?," I should have known it would go down hill from there. We waited....get this...almost... More

We thought that Aloha Hour, that goes from 4:30 to 6:30...would be great for drinks and a light dinner of appetizers. Forget it! Go to the dinning Room! There's not comparison between the food, and the cost difference is well worth the difference!

The restaurant was very busy but the service was fine- fast and friendly. We shared a surf and turf entree that was delicious. We came without a reservation and sat at 'bar' next to open kitchen prep area. it was fun to watch the folks making sushi rolls.

After a demanding day poolside in the desert, we had worked up both an appetite & a raging thirst! Good time to try Roy's in Rancho, and are we glad we did. Easy to find, loads of parking, & seats at the bar for Aloha Hour. Very attentive service from Carlos - followed quickly by smoked mahi tacos, spicy ahi... More

Whenever we are in a city with a Roy's we make a point to go to dinner there! We've been to many and the service and food quality are always consistently excellent. Every meal at Roy's ends with the hot molten chocolate lava cake!

My husband and I went to Roy's for The Butter fish The only place we know we can always find it at Roy's at least in Rancho Mirage. We have had it in Hawaii, Napa and it's always the most delightful flavor at Roy's. Our service was excellent, Joe is one of the long timers at this location. We like... More

Roy's is ravel lent for fish and that is coming from a real carnivore. I had a wonderful Monkfish with a light curried sauce which was so delicious but sadly a special that day so may be on the menu again. Blackened fish dishes are really great and the butter fish is a MUST have. Lovely setting and there is... More

We eat at the Roy's in Woodland Hills, CA frequently & decided that we would go to this Roy's as we normally love the food. We ordered the salad with walnuts & arugula with the dressing on the side. It came with a few walnut pieces & lettuce. It was tasteless & way overpriced for what we got. We ordered... More
