We had dinner at Roy's on a recent visit to Palm Springs second week in December. All I can say is that not only were the host and server great the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

On second thought, drive, and take advantage of their complementary valet service. It is rare that I can find nothing wrong with a restaurant but there was NOTHING wrong with this restaurant. The hostess at the door, our server, Shannon, extremely attentive with excellent suggestions. And the food.....oh the food.....if there's a special, choose it. Because it will be special.... More

My initial impression of Roy's was negative. The place was very noisy. Those at my table had trouble hearing each other. Worst of all was the fact that our primary server spoke so fast that, together with all the background noise, I had a terrible time hearing her and had to ask her to repeat more than once. I had... It has been a few years since either of us had been to Roy's. I made reservations online and as requested we were seated in a booth. Service was very attentive not overbearing. Martini with freshly stuffed blue cheese olives, exactly as ordered. Mai Tai was very good. Butterfish lettuce wrap appetizer= amazing Our entrees were delicious and interesting... Savored... More

We have visited Roy's on the Big Island and Kauai and were never disappointed -- and so it was here. Very good sushi roll and teriyaki steak appetizers. Ahi steak entre was perfect...the fish was seared just right and like butter on the fork. Our other tempura fish entre (we were not quite sure what type) was a bit bland... More

Roy's is a chain I was familiar with because there's an LA Live location. I like the idea of an upgraded, food-oriented Don the Beachcomber and "fusion cuisine" . . . we decided to visit Roy's for "something different" while on vacation in the Palm Springs area. Service and "fusion" food items at Roy's are very good, as advertised. The... More

This is a great restaurant to go to for a nice night out. The service is excellent and the food is excellent. Great variety and reasonable prices. The sea food is fresh and nicely prepared.

We visited Roy's last night. Our party of 10 enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Our wait person was professional, spoke clearly, and made several suggestions for favorite menu items. I wouldn't think this would be a good choice for kids under 10 because it was loud and had a cool adult vibe. I highly recommend this spot.

Roy's is always a reliable place for a great meal. I do find it a bit too pricey as a seafood meal here costs about the same as Mama's Fish House in Maui. A good full meal with an appetizer, desert and cocktails will run you about $100 each. Don't let that prevent you from trying it because everything is... More

Stopped in for a cocktail and apps. The mango mojito was so bad...the mint was floating uncrushed in the glass. Watered down drinks. For a great drink, good price and gorgeous setting we left for Blue Ember at the Omni. No comparison.
