We decided to check out "Aloha Hour," Roy's version of Happy Hour, while taking some time off in Palm Desert/Rancho Mirage. We were running late, but with the Aloha Hour menu available until 7, that was not a problem. The food was great, but the terrific and very personal service by bartenders Carlos and Jerome made the night. To top... More

Roy's in Rancho Mirage was Fabulous!!! From the moment we arrived at the valet I knew it was going to be an awesome dinner experience. We were greeted with an "aloha" and when we entered they had our kids pick out a toy from their treasure chest and they were in paradise. We were treated with great customer service by... More

The Happy Hour at Ro's is fantastic! Great selection of small plates and not so small plates, good wine list at $6 per glass and excellent service from Dar, Joe, Carlos and the rest of the gang. We are regulars there and it is always nice to be somewhere "where everybody knows your name!"

My husband and I came here tonight for an early anniversary dinner. This was our first visit and we were not dissapointed! The calamari appetizer was spot on and a surprisingly large portion. My husband ordered the ribeye and couldn't finish it, so it's a great choice if you've got a big appetite. The cut of meat and seasoning were... More

We visited Roy's twice in the last week. The tasty Edamame beans are a welcome treat as to having bread & butter on the table. I tried the sea bass, my husband the scallops. Each dish was not only delightfully presented but tasted delicious. They have an excellent wine list plus the Macadamia Bread Pudding w/vanilla ice cream so good.... More

When you walk in, you step into a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. Stylish, warm-lighted, high-end-feeling dining room, yet no way pretentious or puffed up. Roomy enough that you're not on top of each other. Comprehensive menu, including gluten free items. Nice wine by the glass list. Very good service, yet not doting. Wide open kitchen including all the hubbub you... More

Excellent Hawaiian fusion cuisine! Didn't know what to expect at first but food was delicious from appetizer to dessert. Just the right amount of food. Cocktails were awesome. My mango mohito was just right. My husband enjoyed his Long Island ice tea. We had a spicy gyoza appetizer, then I had the petite steak and lobster and my husband had... More

We have always loved going to Roy's, but our last visit was just a little disappointing. Although my macadamia crusted mahi mahi was excellent, others in our group didn't care for it. The starters were OK (usually better), the service excellent.

Went to Roys twice for Happy Hour. The service is fantastic, in fact on our second visit the waitress who brought our drinks said: "Good evening Mr..., nice to see you again. And we had only been there once before - a week ago. That is classy. The food regardless of being happy hour is outstanding. The service is equally... More
