My steak was under cooked in part even though I asked for "well done." The drinks were good. Breakfast is not good. The decor is nice and the service was excellent

Everytime we come to the desert, we spend an evening or two at the BluEmbe, a part of Rancho Las Palmas Resort. They offer free valet parking for dinner guests. Their happy hour goes till 7, which we like, and they have live music most nights of the week from 6 to 10. We had their fish tacos -- i... More

Happy hour was poor - very few apps to choose from and drinks were the cheap stuff. In the regular (not happy hour) version they were making the same drink with fresh juice, while my happy hour version came from a bottle.

When my wife and I are vacationing, we love to find happy hours with live music. BluEmber at the Las Palmas Resort has that six nights a week. With a happy hour that goes to 7pm every night, we don't have to hurry to get there. The hotel valets our car at no charge. This trip we had their fish... More

I am a vegan. I was very excited when the waiter told me that one of the specials that night was a stuffed portobello mushroom. When my dinner arrived, it was one grain stuffed mushroom alone in a bowl completely dripping in oil or butter. And that one mushroom cost $21.00. What a disappointment!

Delicious brunch/breakfast. Good menu for dinner and at night they have music by the fire pit where we did some dancing.

Scallops were out of this world, but steak was flavorless, sides were mediocre. Service was good, wine list was good. Forced to eat expensive breakfast buffet instead of allowing us to order off the menu.

We had breakfast at bluEmber twice and dinner twice as well during our Spring Break trip. We felt the food was very average. For breakfast, pancakes were chewy and almost impossible to cut or eat, omelette was overcooked and brown, and buffet offerings were not appealing. For dinner, the food was pretty average and not worth the prices. The best... More

Perfect if you're staying at Rancho Las Palmas. Food was good. Service was ok, as were prices. It's a hotel. Go with a friend. Have a glass of wine at an outdoor table. Watch the world go by.

I would like to rate this restaurant 3.5 stars, but rounded up. The Good: a very diverse and imaginative menu; probably the best beet salad I have ever had; others in our party raved about their veal chop special and their scallops; The Bad: my halibut was slightly overcooked, enough to make it unappealing, and my overall dish was cool...
