Excellent dinner, terrific service, sticker shock!

Enjoyed the Sycamore Inn, food was great! We enjoyed the prime rib that was cooked to perfection. The service and attention was great. This place is very pricey, be prepared for a minimum of 50 per head without any drinks! Definitely a place for special occasions....

We had eater here before and found it satisfactory during "happy hour." This time we visited we had to wait for over an hour for our food and the place was not busy. Finally, we hailed a waiter who said the chefs were not there. We would have left, and should have, if we had known. After an hour my... More

Have heard of Sycamore Inn for years but had a sour chat with a resevations clerk years ago and swore never to go. Changed my mind. Went tonight with my husband of nearly 50 years and 3 of our granchildren. We all, including the squirrelly grandchildren, had a fine but fun dining experience in a lovely Inn with some of... More

The Sycamore in has been around since the late 1800s… It is a Southern California landmark on Old Route 66 that has been hidden away from most people. I feel so lucky to have found it! The food is delicious! And I have tried just about everything! They have a great happy hour from about 4 PM to 8 PM... More

My friends and I love to have the dinner's "on the porch" that start around $10.00. The food is very good and the atmosphere is wonderful.

We go here once or twice a month. The dining room is not too loud, the wait staff is gracious and the food is excellent. It's where we go when we need to relax and enjoy a meal.

I was in Ontario on business and some friends recommended this place. We had a reservation for dinner, but after looking at the menu we decided to eat in the bar because they were having prime time (happy Hour) which was a great. Half price wines by the glass and drinks. Great appetizer specials. and a great deal on a... More

This long-standing restaurant retains its historic excellence, both in service and quality of food. I have been eating here for many years and each time I return it is wonderful to find the same great service, ambiance, and food quality that I have known and loved for so long. There are so many places that have deteriorated over the years,... More

The wife and I dined here. Scallops cooked perfect! Medium rare was was perfect. Outstanding wait staff. This is a old school steakhouse. Everything a la cart. Mentioned only once that it was my wife's birthday and at the end they brought out a dessert with a candle.for her birthday. Awesome attenti to detail.

Went early on Saturday night. The place is big so got in easily without a reservation. The prime rib was very good. The sides, blue cheese mashed potatoes and mushrooms were great. Probably the nicest place in the area. Be prepared to spend a hundred per person with drinks.
