The food here is very good, but the decor is very out dated. The portions are generous, just wish they were open later than 3:00pm. Not many sit down places to eat in this area.

This place was like an old-fashioned waffle house - my son got the strawberry waffle with whipped cream topping and ate every bite. I ordered an omelot and gave my biscuit w/gravy and hash browns to my son (but he was full) I tasted a bite of the sausage gravy and it was good. the hash browns were cooked well.... More

This place started our pretty decent but has steadily declined in food quality, cleanliness, service, and price. We will never eat there again. Perhaps they figure that since they are located in a scummy part of Rancho Cordova they have no competition, but that is the wrong way to do business. The food was inedible and the service neglectful.

I've eaten breakfast at many places over the years and I always come back here for the waffles. Tried many other breakfast items but nothing beats the pecan waffle.

As an new acquaintance told me, "the Waffle Shop is an acquired taste." I have been here before and I came back to see if breakfast continued to be interesting. It was kind of a strange visit. The first thing that hit me was the smell. It wasn't offensive but it wasn't the aroma of great food on the griddle...... More

Make sure to come hungry. The omelets are huge, and require two meals to finish. The coffee is very good and the staff makes sure it is always filled. This place is always busy and I can see the reason why. Lot's of locals and lots of food.....a great deal for the price.

Of all the times I stayed in this area on business, I never knew about the Waffle Shop. I was very pleased at the wonderful service and excellent food. Great value and quick service. Next time I'm in the area, I know where I'll be having breakfast. Two thumbs up....

We went to the waffle shop to have blueberry waffles. I asked for the blueberries to be in the waffles, and to not have whipped cream. Turns out the "blueberries" are blueberry pie filling mix. Yuck. I ordered 1/2 eggs benedict- way too much lemon juice in the hollandaise sauce... We won't be going to a Waffle shop again

Breakfast in here couple times, food is OK, coffee is terrible specially the decaf, taste like expired coffee for years,..urgh...=(. Last time we ate in here, and made us never want to come back anymore. The food have too much cheese....so you never really taste the foods at all. the decaf coffee still terrible, so we choose hot chocolate instead.... More
