It was a birthday party; 18 people very well served. The antipasto was over the top and big enough to share. Everyone was pleased with their choice, and were several different entrees. Gluten-free pizza, can you believe it! was great. Want to go there on my special day. This is now my favorite place for pizza. In the past and... More

This is a friendly Italian restaurant with a family-oriented vibe...many of this restaurant's dishes are 9 OK, such as the lasagne, ravioli and spaghetti. however, two items really stand out and are worth a drive to this location--the pizza and meatballs. The pizza's crust is hand-tossed and on the thin side, with a nice yeasty flavor. Their toppings, particularly the... More

This is the third Filippi's location that we have visited over the past couple of years. We were not disappointed. We originally went to the Kearny Mesa restaurant. Upon arrival we were surprised to see it is undergoing renovations. We went to the Poway location, which was an approximate 20 minute drive north. The decor is much like the Little... More

I'm not like most, in that I don't love, or even generally like pizza. For me, pizza once a year or less is fine. That doesn't apply here though... These folks make a pizza I actually look forward to! Their vinaigrette Italian dressing is also THE gold standard, so good I've been known just to go in to buy the... More

We both had spaghetti and it was great. The bread was excellent and warm from the oven. Our waiter ,David, was really nice and on top of things. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Not much to say except, the service was great, the food was outstanding, and by my standards "would you go back" the answer is "You Bet I Would". Serving sizes are very large, so be careful not to order too much food. This restaurant is one of the most pleasant places to eat in Poway.

We come here for the tacky ambiance, friendly local culture and the meatballs. They are always moist and the size of baseballs - just like Momma used to make.

It's in the back of an Italian market - not fancy, but the pizza was SO SO good!!!! It's way bigger than it looks from the front - worth a visit if you're in Little Italy.

Came in, ordered a Pizza to go and left. The pizza was good, not great. If you are a fan of cheese you will love it. If you want a small amount of cheese, this pizza is not for you. The crust tasted like flour but the overall sauce, cheese and ingredients made up for it.

This is one of our favorite places. Quick service and yummy food. Portions are large. Half orders are typically plenty unless you have a large appetite. Favorite for me is the lasagna. The pizza is thick and super cheesy. Great for breakfast the next morning.
