Since we hadn't eaten lunch we arrived at 5 P. M .when they opened. We were alone and the waitress seemed either bored or overly attentive because she prodded us in a polite way to order. My husband wanted to enjoy his cockrail, but within 5 minutes or less she asked twice if we were ready to order. I asked... More

A gentleman at church that morning recommended we try Luc's for "non-chain" lunch. Our Arnie Palmer's were refilled with efficiency and the food was delicious. Prices were right also. We'll go back for sure.

For a shopping center lunch, it was passable. However, it is certainly not one to go out of the way for.

I've actually been here twice: once with a group of friends for lunch, and once for a more romantic dinner with just two of us. The restaurant did well under both circumstances. For the lunch, they promptly found us a table and we were seated fairly quickly. Menus and drinks were quickly served, and the waitstaff were both unobtrusive and... More

We dined with another couple and three of us were served promptly and the food was very good. BUT the other party in our group was not served and we asked several times about the hold up and in each instance were told the food was coming in just a minute. In each instance it did not arrive. We had... More

This is one of our go-to restaurants in Poway, especially when we want really good, reasonably priced food that is not boring! The chicken and dumplings is my favorite comfort food but everything there is outstanding. Good deals on wine as well.

I had booked this restaurant for Mother’s Day brunch several weeks out due to the nice previous TA write-ups as well as its location in Poway, near my Grandmother’s nursing home. There were 8 of us (6 adults and 2 children) and we ordered off the regular menu. I knew after we ordered, I should have asked our waitress to... More

We went to this restaurant because it was near the theater we had tickets for. I had a wonderful dish which was the seafood trio, with a lemon leak broth, spinach (I think) and brown rice. I've never seen a dish like it. The waitress characterized it as green bouillabaisse which isn't too far off. It was yummy! My only... More

We've been going here once a month for quite a while now and we've always found the vibe to be terrific, service spectacular, menu interesting and the cooking just excellent. Reset! Last time we were there, the service was spotty---with the waitstaff person stumbling over the specials then asking us every 5 minutes if we were ready to order. When... More

I discovered this restaurant as they participate in various airline dining programs. The waiter was very friendly and the food was fine. They do advertise the items we ordered as "Little Bites" and that is certainly true. My fellow diner ended up ordering another item as they are such small servings. I do want to return and get something that... More
