Food

I have been on a cross country road trip and have eaten lots of BBQ in many cities and Joey's has some very good BBQ here in Pomona. The place is loud but well worth it for the food.

Excellent ribs and brisket. Enjoyed the fries and beans as well. The atmosphere is the real winner here. The servers are very friendly and helpful with suggestions from the menu. Try their home made chips, AMAZING. The place is large and can get crowded but the food still comes out quickly and tastes great.

I've been to another Joey's in the IE, but this one has more character -- it's in one of the old buildings in the Pomona antique/arts district. It's a large place and we've never had trouble getting a booth -- which is just fine with me. I'm not a big meat lover, but the chicken is good, the bbq sauce... More

Will never step foot in this dump again! I'm an avid BBQ lover and this place is far from BBQ. I never thought I would say this but this was the first time my party and I didn't finish our BBQ. We had their BBQ sampler special and were pretty excited to get out hands on it. Let's start with... More

The brisket is to die for!! Order it you won't be disappointed. Beef ribs are delectible (meat falls off bone). Everything I've tried there is superb.

the best Beef Ribs from here to St. Louis and beyond. Meaty, tasty worth every penny even though prices are super reasonable. Staff work on a team system that really works. I have yet to make it to desert but the salad eater says their bread pudding is the best she has ever had. Just don't go when I am... More

Joey's has really good food but they are expensive. They have a good menu and are located downtown Pomona. We've gone for lunch a few times but for two of us, our bill is always over $20.00. The food has always been great tho.

Delicious beef ribs. I'm a small beef eater so was able to supplement the one rib with veggies. One person had the grilled chicken with delicious veggies tomatos, squash, eggplant etc and 2 eaters had beef ribs with sides

I have had the pleasure of eating at Joey's for the last year when my then new girlfriend took me there. I have eaten at both the Chino and Pomona locations and eventhough my girlfriends lives a few blocks away from the one in Chino we go to the Pomona location almost once a week. The food is absolutely awesome.... More
