Come here for the food - it is amazing. You will need extra time to study the menu. Do your research and try not to ask too many questions. Its very busy and the wait staff is friendly, but they have a lot of tables to tend to. The "people" come here - real, community people and they know what... More

While visiting Pomona for only five days, I ate lunch here twice. The interior is contemporary, spacious and upbeat if you like the color orange. The service was exceptional the first visit with taking our order and receiving our food quickly. The second visit the service was slower, but it was a Friday and busier. I appreciated the different choices... More

Great dining is hard to find in the SouthLand. Mostly it's over-priced, flavorless, and noisy--the restaurants are noisy, not the food. (I'm from San Francisco; I'm spoiled.) Sanamluang Cafe, however, is amazing Thai food. And it's only 3 blocks from my house! Ok, so Pomona is the LAST place I'd go looking for quality food--believe me, I live here. Being... More

I love thai food and every time I go to a new place, I try my all-time favorite Panang curry. The one at the Sanamluang cafe was very different from what I usually get. It didn't have any coconut milk and was rather watery, like a soup. It also was pretty spicy. It did taste alright, but I can't say... More

I have had lunch here for many years. I have also eaten in many Thai cafes. This one is by far the best. My favorite dish, garlic pork spare rib. no one does this dish better. Spicy Catfish is hot & spicy. Unlike many other spicy dishes, this one has so many wonderful flavors that are not masked by the... More

My employment forces me to travel and eat out on average 4 days a week, every meal, for the past decade or so. If there is a Thai restaurant around, I will usually make my way in to check it out. I have been to Thailand more than 20 times for business and along with a few others I have... More

Sanam Luang Cafe used to be one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Prices were a bit higher than the other places, but the quality was well worth it. Today's visit was very disappointing. We had 4 dishes, and none of them were up to our expectations. Most seemed to be on the dry side and a bit... More

I really enjoy this restaurant because it reminds me of eating in Thailand. Different courses arrive in random order. You have to be prepared to relax and be flexible. Meals are about spending time with friends not rushing off to the next activity. The orange plastic plates make me smile. I just ordered take out earlier this week and thoroughly... More

I love this place. The atmosphere and service is a bit less than awesome but the food is so good you won't even care. The appetizers, soup, noodles, and drinks are good. I especially love the duck. I haven't had dessert there because there is never any room.

We had a party of 5 eat at this restaurant on 5 April. This place was highly recommended by a friend. There was a long line to enter which is okay but once we were seated it took about 15 minutes before someone took our order. It took an additional 15 minutes to get our drinks. Overall, the food was... More
