We have eaten at the New Haven a few times and the food has been consistently good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. It is quite small inside, but is also really pleasant to eat on the covered patio in nice weather. The fish and chips was yummy!

This is a decent place to go in Pollock Pines if you're a resident or passing through. They have a variety of dishes and an intimate dining room. They do seem to change owners often and each time it does go through some changes.

My husband and I decided to visit Apple Hill this weekend and stopped here for pizza and beer. The atmosphere is cozy with tiffany lighting and rustic wood walls and ceiling. We ordered the JJ's Works Pizza and a pitcher of beer. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The pizza was delicious with a wonderful sauce they make on the... More

We stopped here with friends on the last day of a jeep trip through Gold Country. Nice comfortable family style restaurant, great friendly service. We chose this restaurant over the better known 50 Grand across the street because it looked a little cleaner and we wanted to sit outdoors on the patio. Our group ordered a variety of sandwiches, soups,... More

Had pasta with veggies and the veggies were al dente a plus but it needed some spices, which were missing, so it wasn't very appetizing.

What part of medium rare do they not get here? I ordered my burger medium rare & it came to me well done. Earlier this year I ordered a medium rare fillet there. Also was well done. Sent it back. The steak they then brought me was raw inside with seared outside. Sent that back. They must have then cooked... More

Va bene... (ok)...... New Haven is in the mountains, but should we not expect at least one offering of fresh pasta or a custom salad? We are from San Francisco.... Jimmy, who is a proud 2nd generation restauranteur, is the owner and chef. His mom was 100% Italian, but sadly his 'Italiano' offerings do not include any fresh-made pasta. We... More

Great steaks, salads, excellent cheesecake. Nice outdoor seating. Staff and owner went out of their way For us, super friendly. Good selection of beers and wine. This is where we'll be eating when we come back next year!
