This is a favorite stop when I am riding my bike in Marin County. The downtown of Point Reyes Station is 1 block long and brings me back in time. Hitchcock’s “The Birds” was filmed here. At certain times of the year the big tree across from the bakery has a ton of migratory birds in it (not this past... More

What a great place to start your Saturday morning! The selection of baked goods is overwhelming! Better get there early to make sure you get what you want!

We stopped for a couple pastries after visiting Point Reyes lighthouse. There was a line out the door & after reading the reviews we assumed the baked goods would be great. WRONG. The scone was so dry that I do you think it was even baked because my hands were covered with flour. My husband got what was supposed to... More

Getting too busy on weekend, but a must stop in Point Reyes. Pizza slides and baked goods are delicious. Nice to grab a coffee and pan au chocolate and head to the beach.

A line out the door... Fabulous baked goods but regular coffee and tea ONLY! Don't let that stop you though. They hustle their butts off in that little bakery and the regular coffee is good.

What a great find as we traveled through Point Reyes Station. There were so many great items to choose from it was hard to decide. I had the whole wheat scone that was baked to perfection my husband had the blueberry scone. Both had scones lots of fruit and they were so huge that they lasted for two mornings. We... More

There are many reasons to visit Point Reyes Station, but one of the best is a visit to the Bovine Bakery for breakfast. They offer really good coffee (it's an espresso-free zone), but the highlight of the visit is their morning buns. If you time it right, they're warm and fresh out of the oven, a blissful treat of perfect... More

A small but very busy take-out cafe with coffee, scones, and other baked goods. Scones are good but very large; best split between two people or half saved for later.

As a long time bicycle tourer, I know that cyclists burn a lot calories and as a result, know the best places to replenish those calories. So when I saw a long line of bicyclists heading into Bovine Bakery on a recent Saturday, I knew that it was a place I needed to try. Bovine Bakery is a teeny tiny... More
