Ok food, surprisingly expensive

Must be the fact that this is the first place you see when you come into town. The place was packed. However, there's no A/C inside, so it was very hot. Service was pleasant, but we felt the prices were a bit high. There are better places on the main drag (take a left at the intersection before the... read more

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and dessert after farmers market...which was awesome. However, this place WAS NOT..can't speak for the food but coffee.. $3.00 for a small cup. Where were we? ..PARIS?..Much better and cheaper elsewhere.

Pine Cone Diner offers fresh, organic, local ingredients whipped into delicious breakfasts and lunch combinations. The excellent service is attentive and efficient. This delightful restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, so plan accordingly.

Passing thru on HWY 1, saw what looked like "the local place", which usually indicates best in town. Ignore the tired look of the booths, just go for the food. What a gem. Waitress was smiling, coffee was hot, and she brought what was arguably the best corn beef hash on the planet.

Tried the corned beef hash. There were no vegetables in it,yuk. Corned beef hash needs carrots, onions, and cabbage. They do great hash browns though. Everything else is done pretty good accept the coffee which was old and strong. They only take cash, just a little inconvenient

The food was good. Staff was nice. Prices were ridiculous. Lunch for 5, grilled cheese, hot dog, single pancake and 2 sandwiches. $100. Whoa! Cute diner but that kind of money is better spent elsewhere.

We were two couples off for a weekend away without children. We arrived for breakfast on a weekday and sat right down, no waiting. The interior is as cute as can be with throw-back bright yellow kitchen tables, retro wall decorating and fun fun counter seating. OK...best best omelet of my life that day. Spinach and Swiss cheese with Avocado.... More

Love the whole wheat pancakes, they are the size of the plate and really good. Lunch is also good and eating outside on picnic tables was fun.

Given the mixed and strong range of opinions about this place, we had to try it out. Happy to say, it was quite fine. It's a basic, American, rather nice 'greasy spoon', breakfast place. My scrambled eggs were perfect, tasty sausage, the service was friendly, my latte was great (they even had Soy milk). Staff are hardworking. Decor is country... More

Food was really disappointing. We had a fried oyster salad and a fried oyster sandwich. Oysters, the star of each entree, were soggy and limp. Salad was dressed with a virtually flavorless dressing; feta cheese in such a small amount it was barely noticeable. Service indifferent; price, high.
