Good Food

Point Reyes is a small town with only a few restaurants so the station House is a nice find. They have a large menu with a good selection. The popovers which are served in place of bread are worth the whole meal. I ate there twice once for lunch and once for dinner and was satisfied both times. The... read more

Lovely place with live music on the weekend and an outdoor patio to soak up the sun. They close from 3-5 I believe, except the bar. Had two wonderful meals and the bread is super delicious.

We liked this place so much that we ate here twice. My husband had a very non traditional hash. He's a fairly traditional-food kind of guy, but he loved it. I had a feta scramble that was delicious. For lunch, I had the best BLT I've ever had. I don't remember what he had, but it was a little small.... More

We had lunch here on a pretty day and were pleased to get a table in the outdoor garden area. We sat under an arbor with flowers and plants all around us. The food is really good here. Our group tried the clam chowder, the fried oysters, the Reuben, and a chicken salad sandwich. All tasty and well prepared. Our... More

Enjoyed lunch here. I had Earl Grey iced tea which Ioved. They offer a wide selection of beverages and drinks. Had the Reuben which was very good. Husband likes his fish and chips and son had pulled pork. Waitress was excellent and attentive. Four Stars is only due to it was too cold inside.

A very choice for a cooked breakfast and a welcoming enviroment for eating. Again getting the right waitress makes a difference. Coffee refills no issue one day but were the next. The drip coffee does vary in strength. First time a little weak but better the next day. Beware shut on Wednesday's - in April anyway

I enjoy sitting at the counter when I dine here. The counter is full of actions, with the Chefs and witress's moving around. Basic American meals are the main stay here, there is a full bar also.

Stopped for lunch during a Hwy 1 motorcycle trip. Rueben was the server's suggestion, and lived up to the hype. If not the best, certainly top 3. Corned beef had a nice crispiness to it and great flavor throughout. "Onion rings" turned out to be more of a mass of straws, and quite greasy, but again, very good flavor especially... More

The menu had so many interesting things on it, it was hard to chose. Even our ten year old found something she loved. The pasta was a bit bland (all pasta needs salt, chef!) but still good.
