Trip in California

Excellent customer service. The waitress did a great job. I had fish & salad. A relaxing diner that was not expected.

Loved the place. Nice location, beautiful garden, and kids friendly. Went three nights in a row w wife and two children. Food was very good, service excellent and good selection of whiskey and beer. Fish n chips are ok, good burgers and excellent oyster soup. Much better food than Stellina without the pretentiousness.

We were there for dinner on a recent week night. We had a reservation but had a few minutes wait to be seated. After that, service was good. Food was competent but not great. I had clam chowder, which was fine but not as good as I had previously elsewhere in the Pt Reyes area. After that I had the... More

We have been going to this restaurant for years. The food is not nearly as good as it once was so we probably will find another place for lunch on our way through town. The Caesar salad was overpriced and underdressed and quite average. The fish tacos are very small and overpriced for what you get. The black beans that... More

The dinner meal was horrible. House salad had bit of old, wilted greens. The fish and chips had undercooked cod and tasted as if the oil it was fried in was old and or rancid. The veggie burger had no flavor just bland. Only good part of meal was the draft beer

No lie. One of the top 10 meals I've ever had with one of the best waitresses. It was not elaborate but the ingredient were so fresh it was like I had never tasted chicken and tomatoes before. The place also not fancy but comfortable. The pop overs to start didn't hurt either! So good we went for breakfast the... More

The food here is pretty good, but not really spectacular. We had these roasted peppers that were okay. My main course was St Louis ribs, which were fine, but came with potatoes and corn. A little too much on the carbs. My wife had the chicken in a salad with bread. The chicken was a little dry. The wait staff... More

well there aren't a lot of choices in pt reyes so this is always one of them..but it seemed better...and they had a great bango/fiddle/bass group..my husband actually clapped in time to the beat..a rarity.

We had a great dinner starting with aromatic delicious popovers. Menu was varied so you can spend a lot or a little and is fairly priced. Highly recommend for couples, families, friends.

While there are only a dozen or so restaurants in Point Reyes Station, I don't know that I would have picked out this one -- the Station House Cafe -- as outstanding if it weren't for my traveling companions. Simply put: I'm glad I wasn't traveling alone and left to my own devices. What a pleasant surprise the Station House... More
