Nice restaurant, good ambiance, good service, somewhat interesting menu, oriented towards organic local food. What is not to like? Well, the food looks very good, but portions are wrong and the taste is average at best. I had a steak which was too thin and too fatty to be very good...with a mountain of rather good fries...way too many to... More

We like to stop there for brunch with friends on New Year's Day, and the food is delicious, service great! Then, just another 1/2 or so drive out to the seashore - a perfectly balanced day!

Fresh food, interesting menu. Brightly lit, clean, outdoor dining available. We had a tasty wild mushroom omelet, nice pumpkin soup, and a great baby kale salad with avocado, pomegranate, and especially light crispy fried chick peas.

Even when they are "slammed" they service is friendly, efficient, and the food comes out on time. You have to respect that they turn out fast breakfasts as well as fast evening meals and a GOOD at this. The food is excellent. Comfort good with good quality, local ingredients. Fish and Chips the time we went was not up to... More

Our family stopped here recently for lunch and based on the reviews, as well as the long wait for a table even late in the day, we expected more from both the food and the service. We had perfectly acceptable fish tacos, fish and chips, and a BLT but none of the meals stood out as anything special or memorable.... More

So≤ my wife and I decided to go for a walk on the beach, which is something we do often. We decided to have lunch first and we can here on our way out towards South Beach. Their hamburger was excellent and the house salad was predominantly spinach, which was perfect for us.

We purposely picked Station House because of the sustainability of the menu choices. We got much more than that - everything was wonderful from the hostess, the sever and especially the food. Probably the best fish and chips I've had in California. My granddaughter's house-made veggie burger was fresh and perfectly prepared. The other dish was a huge avocado sandwich... More

I visited with a friend on a weekend evening in the summer and it was very busy. A band was playing in the bar area (not our taste and pretty loud), but we were able to get a table in the dining room. The food was excellent, but the server must have been new. We were at a small table,... More

I had the ribeye, it was excellent. It was served with shoe string potatoes. We had a cheese and bread thing for an hor d'ovuve, it was served warm. That was also excellent. The service was great. Good wine selection. My wife had a baked chicken dish, which she really enjoyed.
