Shock came to this midwestern's wallet, where my lunch meal consisted of Reuben sandwich and veggie was $10 and my coffee, although good, was $5. The sandwich was chewy, this is expected when dealing with meat. The vegetable was only thinly sliced carrot, less than 1/3 cup see photo, marinated in something sweet. It was not a great value for... More

We have been going here for the past five or more summers and remain pleased with the food, service, and ambiance. Great menu with lots of local choices, like oysters raw and cooked. Very fine wine list includes half bottles. Closed on Wednesdays.

My wife and I stopped for a late lunch at the Station House Cafe in Point Reyes after a long visit to the National Sea Shore. Outdoor seating area is beautiful and indoor is also quite comfortable. The BLT and the Mussels were outstanding. The local mussels were quite large. I must say they were better than the last best... More

We went to Point Reyes National Seashore for the day and since we were staying in a place in Bodega Bay, didn't think to take a lunch or snacks, not realizing there wasn't any place to eat in or near the park that wasn't sandwiches. As we left around three, we pulled out the phone and quickly searched for some... More

We went to this place, for a second time, after driving on Hw1 on a very pleasant day. The restaurant has outdoor seating, like a small garden, which is very beautiful. It was a Saturday and obviously very busy day for them. Upon arrival, we encountered a hostess who seemed like we were interrupting her day with our presence. She... More

This café has a lovely court yard with flowers in bloom, lots of shade. The food was very good and the portions quite large. Sweetman had a fried oyster omelet. Not my style but he loved it. My avocado BLT was great with nice ripe avocado slices, and tasty tomatoes (not like the cardboard tasting ones what we get in... More

We visited the Muir Wood and drove to Point Reyes (again we had no time to go to the light house :( ) We needed some gas, and the Visitor Center sent me to the Point Reyes Station. It was about 3pm, so we decided to have a late lunch. Although we did not know anything about this place, it... More

This was a great 1st try for oysters for 3 out of 4 at our table. We tried the BBQ oysters 1/2 in garlic butter and 1/2 bbq. We liked the garlic the best. Everything else was well served as well. I personally had the fish tacos and had no trouble finishing everything on my plate as it was delicious.... More

Happened upon Station House and was told it was the only place to eat in town! We were pleasantly surprised to find good waitresses, nice atmosphere, and good food. Even though the food was good, I felt it to be a bit pricey for a breakfast meal (2 people, simple meals, 28.00). But I would eat there again since the... More
