I've been coming to the Cafe Reyes for over 20 years. Back when we lived in SF and came out to West Marin for the hiking on weekends, it was a totally different place. We came for dessert and cappuccino after our hikes, but there was no pizza. Then Robert Harvell took over the place, installed a wood burning pizza... More

I am Italian and therefore EXTREMELY picky about Piazza. I have to say that this was the first time I found a good pizza in the US (for the Italian standards of course). Not too many toppings, garlic free (in Italy we DO NOT put garlic on pizzas....), nice and light crust. I was impressed :D A bit expensive for... More

As avid sea kayakers and hikers we frequent Northern California's Tomales Bay/Pt. Reyes National Seashore area a number of times each year, and for the 2nd, but most assuredly not last time we grabbed lunch at the friendly, non-pretentious Cafe Reyes. The service is great, the atmosphere light and inviting, and the wood fired pizza to die for! Having sampled... More

We came in late and the place wasn't too busy. We were fortunate to have missed the rush. We had their pizza which was super good, veggie pie (which isn't as big as you would think, it was like a slice of quiche) with a yummy salad. We then indulged and had their chocolate layer cake which was also amazing.... More

We have eaten here often over the years but this was our first visit since the new owners took over 6 years ago.The place has a comfortable, relaxing inside, but on our visit we chose the deck. Nothing fancy, just picnic tables and fresh air. It was oysters for me, and my wife had a pizza, and the staff happily... More

Great atmosphere and good food. Wood burning cooked pizza and bread was good with lots of flavor. Wife had the eggplant and really liked it.

This is a not to be missed restaurant during your stay in the Pt Reyes area. We go here without fail at least once or twice during our visits to Coastal California and are never disappointed. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and serves locally grown foods. My favorite is their amazing pizzas laden with fresh rosemary which grows like... More

We ate at Cafe Reyes on a rainy night and there were quite a few people there--a good sign. We had their Inverness Pizza (fennel sausage) -- nice crust and flavor and their Spinach Pie with salad--really tasty pie. The portions were quite adequate and the prices are very reasonable. It is a nice casual restaurant; good service.

Great pizza and salad. We had to order salad because they were out of soup, had to change beer because they were out of the beer I ordered, had to change tables because of flies at our first table. Having said all that, the salad and pizza were fantastic.
