Awesome restaurant!

We stopped by this place today for lunch. It is super cute and pretty quiet. The drinks are served in mason jars for a country feel; however it is a little more upscale with cloth napkins and nice flatware. Our server was very nice and attentive. I had the beef burger and my husband had the pork... read more

Context: we had lunch on a Friday Atmosphere: the butcher shop/restaurant is housed in what seems like an old barn like space. Tables are set on a front area with lots of windows for views of the main road. Bathrooms are on site. Service: quick, efficient. Food: I wanted to buy one of everything behind the butcher counter. The meat... More

It being a Monday, with a number of places in the Point Reyes/Inverness area were closed. Luckily for us, we found the Marin Sun Farms diner in Point Reyes Station open..what a find! The place is a combination of meat market/wine tasting/restaurant. Marin Sun Farms raise and butcher their own animals: beef, pork, lamb and goat. Burgers of every type,... More

We just loved this "down home" diner outside Point Reyes Station. About 20 tables on a cement floor. We had their burgers and darn it, they were amazing. We also had the brussel sprouts topped with fresh Parmesan cheese. Wow. Order it, please. We had two small kids in tow and the staff was geared for the care and feeding... More

Best burgers EVER. And even better knowing that the animals were always pasture fed and lived out their lives happy and free. They are slaughtered very near by and with incredible high standards. The meat from these animals is totally different. It's so flavorful and rich. The lamb...oh the lamb....once they had water buffalo burgers and they were worth the... More

Stay away from Safeway! Here you will get the "happier animal life" experience that is missing from the supermarket. The meat is very good. Eggs too.

Really, really good burgers and sandwiches in a cool setting. Served with fresh, tasty salads. Grass fed beef, organic, the works. Oh, and if you want fries, they are awesome too! Loved it.

Dropped in here when searching for a good place to eat during Thanksgiving vacation. Who knew that a butcher shop served dinner! The food was great the service fantastic and the experience was wonderful! The meat was amazing, the grilled brussel sprouts incredible and the homemade local water buffalo Gelato was out of this world!

We stopped for lunch on the way to the park with somewhat high expectations, largely based on TA reviews. We were promptly seated and enjoyed very good service throughout the meal. I took some time to wander around, looking at the meats and other offerings. To be fair, we had burgers, not the steaks from the meat case. They were... More

We saw the review, so went with high hopes. The little store exceeded all expectations with an amazing butcher case. We intended to take home some meat to grill, but decided they probably could cook it better than us, and they did! Seriosly good meat, flavor and texture, the best I have ever had. Go here and eat here. You... More
