Grass-fed local butcher and restaurant

This is our local butcher. Delicious grass-fed meats, broths, salads. Highly recommend. Indoor and outdoor seating. I think they are closed mid-week, so check the hours.

This was another stop on The West Marin Food and Farm Tour, we tasted and tasted more! Delicious lamb, beef and goat burgers, yam fries and onion rings. Arugula salad and Brussels sprouts a new way! Who knew there was such a thing as water buffalo gelato with the most unique flavours! A must try!

What a great little spot. We had an excellent fresh dinner - salad was fantastic and can't go wrong with any of the meat selections. Burger was fantastic and the pulled pork just enough spice. Don't forget the fries. The place was a bit busy but were at the rush hour during Thanksgiving week so understandable. Easy place to please... More

A wonderful spot for a meal, Marin Sun Farms is a carnivores paradise. A Group of friends and I had a delicious meal of pulled pork sandwiches, lamb burgers and sweet potato fries with a bottle of red wine. The decor is very simple because the restaurant also serves as a retail store. You won't want to go for a... More

First off... If u aren't prepared to splurge a little... Look elsewhere. But if u appreciate honest, local food, the $$ really isn't that bad. My husband and I both got a lamb burger and shared the garlic sausage. EVERYTHING was amazing (except for slow service). Burgers, fries (not heavy as other reviews suggested), sausage.... Even the ketchup wasn't plain... More

Stopped here for lunch to try their lamb burger. Would have had dinner there but it was a winter Thursday and they close at 5 so.... So lamb burger that comes with lamb bacon (to die for) a sauce?, and a perfectly dressed side of greens. Cooked medium rare and out of this world. Can't wait until next time I... More

My girlfriend and I split a beef burger and a lamb burger and enjoyed both. I'm going back in a week with friends visiting from out of town. The employees were warm and friendly. I wanted to sample everything on the menu but I only have one stomach.

This place looks like some little hippie joint, where maybe you really could ask a hippie for a joint. True, it is rather rustic, but service and food are absolutely awesome. This is a butcher shop with a dining area, indoors and outdoors. It is busy for a reason - the menu will make you cry from frustration because you... More

This is a great place to buy meat plus an excellent restaurant. I especially love the goat burger. The fries are awesome and they have very good wine and beer. Also, amazing ice cream!

After an enjoyable 20 mile bike ride in Marin County, we decided to refuel at MSF. Since people raved about the delicious goat burgers and beer, my party of 7 had to check this place out. Being that it was a holiday weekend, MSF did not have any reservations available, but said that we could eat outside. Since the weather... More
