Best Beef Burger

The Marin Sun Farms Butcher Shop and Restaurant is the place I come to for a late lunch/early dinner every time I visit the Point Reyes area. We sat on hay bales outdoor for a delicious lunchtime meal. Tasty burgers on crisp Buns, absolutely generous portions. Good service. Parking directly in front of the Restaurant. Best to arrive at noon. Reasonable prices. Very popular place!

This is our 2nd time trying to get in-- first time we were too early and this time filled to the brim. Food looked good though. We'll try again

The food was good, but not the best burger ever. Good salads. The prices were high for what you got, especially prices of kids meals. Probably wouldn't return.

We stopped here due to TripAdvisor ratings and ordered a hamburger. Hard to explain how good this tasted. In addition, we were not disappointed with the sausage. Everything tasted just as it had tasted on the farm in Illinois over 50 years ago where we butchered our own meat and made our own sausage. A bit pricey, but worth it.

This was a lunch stop before visiting Pt Reyes. It was the #1 rated restaurant on trip advisor and the food was from local farms which also a draw for us. We had a fried chicken sandwich, bbq sandwich, and beef brisket sandwich. We tried each other's and each item was tasty! They each had a uniqueness about them that... More

My husband and I were exploring Point Reyes and Muir Woods and I looked at Trip Advisor for recommendations. I had the goat burger (never have eaten goat) and it was absolutely delicious. For those of you afraid of trying new things, this is mild, lean and very flavorful. If goat were widely available, I would gladly try other cuts.... More

I highly recommend this place! It seemed like a hole in the wall from the road, but once we tried the fresh meats, we were blown away. I had the lamb burger and my husband had the regular burger. Mmmmm!

We stopped by this place today for lunch. It is super cute and pretty quiet. The drinks are served in mason jars for a country feel; however it is a little more upscale with cloth napkins and nice flatware. Our server was very nice and attentive. I had the beef burger and my husband had the pork BBQ sandwich. My... More

Context: we had lunch on a Friday Atmosphere: the butcher shop/restaurant is housed in what seems like an old barn like space. Tables are set on a front area with lots of windows for views of the main road. Bathrooms are on site. Service: quick, efficient. Food: I wanted to buy one of everything behind the butcher counter. The meat... More
