Stay away from Safeway! Here you will get the "happier animal life" experience that is missing from the supermarket. The meat is very good. Eggs too.

Really, really good burgers and sandwiches in a cool setting. Served with fresh, tasty salads. Grass fed beef, organic, the works. Oh, and if you want fries, they are awesome too! Loved it.

Dropped in here when searching for a good place to eat during Thanksgiving vacation. Who knew that a butcher shop served dinner! The food was great the service fantastic and the experience was wonderful! The meat was amazing, the grilled brussel sprouts incredible and the homemade local water buffalo Gelato was out of this world!

We stopped for lunch on the way to the park with somewhat high expectations, largely based on TA reviews. We were promptly seated and enjoyed very good service throughout the meal. I took some time to wander around, looking at the meats and other offerings. To be fair, we had burgers, not the steaks from the meat case. They were... More

We saw the review, so went with high hopes. The little store exceeded all expectations with an amazing butcher case. We intended to take home some meat to grill, but decided they probably could cook it better than us, and they did! Seriosly good meat, flavor and texture, the best I have ever had. Go here and eat here. You... More

Stopped for lunch on a September weekend. The place was fairly empty, which worried us a bit, and when the food came our regret settled in. Nothing was awful, but nothing was great: "house made" doesn't always mean anything special. As you'd expect from a butcher shop, there were lots of flies buzzing around. And the prices were way too... More

What a great "concept"! You go into the restaurant, check out the butcher's counter and select your meat - steak, pork, lamb, etc. The chef prepares it, to your liking, and it is served with a beautifully dressed salad and great fries. You pay for the meat of your choice, then add $12 for the salad, fries and preparation. Everything... More

We just had lunch at this wonderful Pasture to Fork establishment and it lived up to its reputation from Check Please Bay Area. We both had the delicious Beef Burger, with the house-made Aioli. His was Medium Well, and mine Medium Rare, and both were done to perfection. We shared an order of scrumptious Onion Rings, and our Skye Terrier... More

Loved the meat case and will definitely buy a steak and have them cook it for us next time we visit. We had their burger, ordered it medium rare. While it was flavorful enough, it was overcooked and a tad overpriced. Onion rings were a little too battery and leaden/greasy. Staff is super pleasant.

We came in large group with kids on a short notice. Service was very good and fast. We sat outside where the kids could run around while waiting for late lunch. Food was very good and arrived fast. We left a medical bag at the place and owners were kind enough to send it to us. We will def come... More
