Loved the meat case and will definitely buy a steak and have them cook it for us next time we visit. We had their burger, ordered it medium rare. While it was flavorful enough, it was overcooked and a tad overpriced. Onion rings were a little too battery and leaden/greasy. Staff is super pleasant.

We came in large group with kids on a short notice. Service was very good and fast. We sat outside where the kids could run around while waiting for late lunch. Food was very good and arrived fast. We left a medical bag at the place and owners were kind enough to send it to us. We will def come... More

We went to Marin Sun Farms based on Trip Advisor reviews but quite frankly, I wish we hadn't. There were several other excellent restaurants just over the green bridge that offered oysters, which is THE specialty of the area. There aren't any oysters on the menu at Marin Sun Farms; it is basically a butcher shop with the restaurant as... More

We have been trying to eat here on past trips but they have been closed(check days and hours) and we made up for it by eating here 2 times in our 3 day visit to Olema. Great casual outdoor space if the weather is good (they have indoor seating as well). Both days I ate the water buffalo burger with... More

I was hosting a bbq rehearsal dinner for a large group at a place we rented in Stinson Beach. After gathering a bulk of supplies in Point Reyes Station, we stopped by MSF for the main course. Oh my. Perhaps the finest selection of meats and homemade sausages you could ask for. I loved that you could buy jars of... More

Its not the easiest place to dine - you have to be there on certain hours of each day but its well worth the effort to do so. Loved the food - so fresh and vibrant in flavors and brought home the best rub for grilling I have ever found. Highly recommend this place

My wife and I took a trip to the Point Reyes area in February 2014 and were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. It was about dinner time and we were looking for something that wasn't too fancy and didn't need reservations to eat in a timely manner. After checking out a few of the other... More

Great spot to buy meat for cooking later, and a great spot for food and drink. We had a lovely day so sat outside on hay bales and enjoyed our lunch. The dry-aged ribeye hamburger was truly a great experience. Came with home made pickles and plenty of arugula salad. Limited but sufficient wine list, same for beer. You can... More

A lovely informal cafe-style spot attached to an incredible butcher shop. We had the pork sandwich and the black & blue burger plus fries. All delicious - the pork sandwich was maybe the best I have ever had. Which means a lot coming from a Brit - we like our pork. Perfect with a glass of Sean Thackery Pinot.

Recommended by a family member. This place made 6 foodies & 2 toddlers happy, full, content. Turns out everyone had something different-goat burger, lamb burger, chicken sandwich, filet, grilled cheese. The fries were also excellent. Big portions. Excellent quality. The only down side is that there wasn't room for dessert. Farm to table experience. Highly recommended.
