An exceptionally clean and happy place with lots of temptations (if you love cheese).

We have been to the Cowgirl Creamery a number of times. I have to say that we are from the Monterey/Carmel (CA) area and we are spoiled by some excellent restaurants. While rustic CC is a first class operation and they make great cheese. Bring your Black AmEx because it ain't cheap but the faire is... read more

The Farmstead Original Blue Cheese is the best. The store was very crowded the day we were there, but it was worth the wait.

We were glad to pick up cheese and picnic supplies here; the cheese is top-notch though pricey. We were glad to know even though the Cowgirl Creamery closed in Washington, DC where we live, we can still buy Cowgirl Creamery Cheese at our local Whole Foods. Delicious!

On a wonderful sunny afternoon we met up with friends here for lunch. The food was pricey, greasy, small portions and very disappointing. The tomato soup was really the only dish we all agreed was tasty. The grilled cheese with overcooked carmelized onions and mustard was just greasy and sad . The Bahn Mi Chicken sandwich was also greasy and... More

I visited on a what I though was a quiet afternoon. There weren't many customers and I wanted to try some of the cheeses, but the staff seemed to be a combination of overwhelmed and disinterested. So instead I walked next door to the Cowgirl Cantina and ordered the mac and cheese. It was good but nothing super special. Other... More

We bought a late lunch of sandwiches on our drive to Nick's Cove. We enjoyed them so much we stopped there again 2 days later to buy more on our way out of town!

Slipped in here to buy a few cheeses. Lovely how you can see the cheeses being aged. Staff is very friendly and will give you samples of cheeses, if you ask. Walked away with a few cheeses to take home and enjoy.

The shop is full of delicious cheese, cheese accessories and books. The tour in the shop of how some of their cheese is made is informative and not too long!

We enjoyed our visit here very much and even though the place was packed, the person working the cheese counter was very helpful and patient while we made our selections. We ended up buying two different cheeses based on her recommendations (and samples!) and have pretty much polished off both of them over the last few days. We are happy... More

The only problem is we buy like we were going to put on a cheese class for 50. But the staff is great and we really enjoy overdoing it.
