Great cheese, and watch it being made.

Fun to watch the cheese being made. This place is really owned & started by the cowgirls. Now they serve salads and small plates for lunch and snacks too. We often stop here at their take out counter to get things before walking the trails in Pt. Reyes or going out to Limantour beach. Delicious... read more

With all the other wonderful cheese spots who really cater to educate and allow customers to experience the cheese before buying. This was a more intimidating and unfriendly experience.

We visited Point Reyes and of course had to stop to buy some Cow Girl Creamery cheese! It was expensive but tasty. A local gem.

I don't splurge often, but this cheese is worth it. They let you try anything and everything. They had cheese today I hadn't seen or tasted since I was in Switzerland. $30 per pound but worth every penny. Lots of great options. We narrow down to a few choices and take it to snack with fresh bread and wine. The... More

Go right to the middle cheese counter and get a number in order to taste the different cheeses. Drinks, sound, and desserts are a separate counter to the right. They have a new "Cheese Club" if you want to order regular deliveries. Hot chocolate and fresh bread were perfect for a cold January day!

We come here every time we visit the Point Reyes area. It's a great place to get things for a picnic. Their food is delicious but it's also quite expensive so be prepared. Point Reyes is a world class venue so why not splurge and bring along some world class food.

We came to Cow Girl for the cheese tour and tasting which took about an hour. It was interactive and educational while also fostering greater appreciation for the experience and effort that goes into cheese making. Afterwards, we sampled the mac and cheese, the tomato soup, and also purchased some cheese for the following days' wine tasting. All of it... More

FRESH dairy products! You can really taste the difference! I highly recommend visiting when in the area. This location has limited facilities. I have read a few reviews criticizing them for not having things such as a bathroom. It's a very small town and the buildings are rather dated, so this is understandable. Definite a stop through.

My wife and I swung by the cowgirl creamery because we love their cheeses. The store was very charming and we got to taste their entire line of cheeses. The staff was very helpful. We would have liked to take a tour, however they are only offered on Fridays and must be booked in advance online.
