They are knowledgable and make some of the cheese on location. We are cheese fans so this was a treat and their cheeses are exceptional!

We stopped by to get some great take out sandwiches. Although we missed the tour, they were great about letting us try different cheeses. Nice stop to get provisions for a picnic.

We picked up a takeout lunch and the place was hopping. Great vegetarian eggplant foccacia and chicken sandwiches. Families with children who are picky eaters may want to look elsewhere (our adults loved our meals; the child thought the food too fancy, even the mac & cheese). Great cookies and pastries, and of course the main event - locally produced... More

We love Cowgirl cheese and were so excited to visit. The food and cheese and accompaniments they have available here are great. We are used to visiting cheese shops, and are familiar with the custom of tasting a variety of cheeses at the counter. We spent 45 minutes being helped by three different people, who seemed to be mostly interested... More

We ordered coffees for the road in our travelling mugs and the service was slow, forgetful ("What was your order again?") and inefficient ( mine was not filled to the brim because the server did not foam enough milk). The new trainee was at a loss on his own and his trainer was not much better. We did buy some... More

Had heard of Cowgirl Creamery and had to check it out. It was a summer holiday weekend and it was very crowded. However, cheeses were excellent and sandwich I ordered very tasty. I expected it to be quaint for some reason. It wasnt. Really more trendy-but definately worth stopping. Cute little town to stroll as well.

Pick a number & get some samples- of theirs and others. Perfect to pick up for your picnic with crackers , bread, etc. Can look thru window & watch the little chesses being made.

Lovely store for shopping for cheese and food gifts. Samples available. Incredible cheese, fascinating story of the genesis of the Creamery.

Stopped here (the Tomales Bay Foods location in Pt Reyes Station) on our way up to Hog Island for oysters. They have a nice selection of wines, preserves and cheeses of course. We bought the Red Wagon cheese and some fig preserves with raisins and mostarda - all delicious.
