I was surprised when we walked in. This place was packed. The good was great and the price was just right. Great service. They do want you to eat and leave and the place is small and the tables need to be turned over for the next guest.

Sozo is hands down the best and freshest Sushi in the Tri-Valley area. They also always have fresh Uni. Great selection, fast service and good prices. Make plans to take your friends or family, they are able to seat large groups.

We eat here often enough...great bento boxes..they even have one for kids....and great selection of sushi.....always crowded...decent service...they give you a bowl of miso soup and edamame while you browse the menu....nice touch.....prices are not too crazy...I believe they are Korean owned Japanese restaurant...one of the dishes I enjoy here is Chirashi-bop (like bibimbap)....Chirashi w/ the spicy Korean sauce..

The food is great, love the Tempura and California roll combo meal. The staff is friendly, and they keep you happy during your meal. The are good with the kids, very friendly with them. We are not sushi eaters, but also the Chicken Teriyaki is great, and a LARGE portion. Enjoy

Love this place, go there at least once a month. Terrific food, great service. It's always busy, but I am still seated quickly and service is timely. Good for takeout, too.

The sushi was awesome and the choices unlimited. The Hopyard was unlike any sushi I've had before, warm with some melted cheese? Yep! I also really liked the Java. My friend had a heaping plate of one concoction and he couldn't even finish it. The flavor was spot on and everything tasted very fresh.
